Maximum JOY 💝

Last Friday was so special.

Forever grateful to all the dancers and my beautiful queer friends who joined forces to make the very first edition of Good As You happen. a softer, sober-friendly queer soirée.

I don’t think any of us knew quite how it would unfold, but the openness and enthusiasm from everyone who got involved and joined us made it so special.

It cemented in me just how lucky I am to have met such immensely inspiring and wonderful people on and off the queer dance floor over the past year and a half in London. Those spaces have been vital in helping me find my people and this first party really marked a moment, surrounded by the people I love, knowing how glad I am to have taken a risk and upping sticks to the big smok.

Thank you to everyone who danced, everyone who showed up, and everyone who poured their love into all the details—from Sun Palace Soundsystem, to Mikey on dice + dressing duties, to the venue, to each and every one of my gorgeous Good As You crew who without them jumping into all manor of roles; this would never have happened, you and the dancers are all what made it and I love you endlessly.

Good As You will be back in January—and I already can’t wait. Records at the ready!!! 🎶💋

🚨 TURN UP THE RADIO, DARLINGS!!! 🚨

Good As You Radio is back and joshyboiii is welcoming the one and only Bestley to the airwaves 💖🪩✨

Ahead of their VERY special guest appearance at the Good As You Queer Soirée: 1st Birthday, Bestley is taking us on a journey through the tracks that have defined their queer journey so far 🥹🌈🎶

Bestley is the glorious lovechild of the glamour and grit of dancefloors past, blending disco, house, soul, funk, rarities and classics into their own gorgeous, genre-spanning sound 💫

Expect stories, memories, discoveries and plenty of queer musical magic as we dive into the records that have soundtracked Bestley’s journey - from teenage obsessions and early dancefloor discoveries to the songs that still give them goosebumps today 💘

As always, a little musical trip through the moments, music, places and people that help shape the queer communities of today 🎂🪩🌈

The concept of being happy to smile. 🌼🏵️🌻🌞😊

Reminiscing about @goodasyou___ 3 makes me feel so happy to smile. 😁

Our first time adopting a theme, creating my look, preparing the decor with @loumorwen , and seeing how you all interpreted the theme was just the shot of joy the doctor ordered. Here are some shots of your gorgeous looks by @unasked.studio , @thecupcakephilosophy & @namtran .

Caught between chaos and becoming…

Just last week, @jonjojury joined @joshaitman on @voices_radio, talking us through the tracks that have shaped his queer and musical journey so far…

At 13, he was taken to see Iggy Pop by his step dad — ending up tangled in a mosh pit with a punk and walking out changed.

That moment lit the fuse: a lifelong pull toward dancefloors, live energy, and the kind of collective release that leaves you dripping in joy.

Now a cornerstone of London’s queer club culture, Jonjo Jury has spent years shaping dancefloors across the UK and beyond — from Trash to Durrr and everywhere in between…

Good As You is back air at 11am with Jonjo Jury. 💿✨

Queer dancefloor royalty. 25+ years deep. Starting with Trash, Durrr, Savage Disco… all the way through to Feel It, Adonis, Horse Meat Disco and many more….

Josh met Jonjo through the queer club scene and along his sober journey — a total diamond with unreal taste in music. 💖

Expect 80s uncut gems from Grace to Iggy… and stories from a life lived infront of the speakers and behind the decks.

Tune in, babes.

Good As You is back on Voices Radio exploring another queer journey and the music that has soundtracked it so far. 🗺️

This time Good As You dancefloor regular and close friend of the family, Jamie, joins to share his key tracks.

Following many stomps and shakes, losing all sense of time across London queer nightlife, Josh has had the joy of getting to know this wonderful soul.

An actor by trade and babe by nature step into his world as we traverse all the way from childhood to present day!

11am - 1pm See you on the airwaves! 📡
