POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This time last year we were wrapping up three sublime weeks in England. We kicked off the trip with @officialevita in London and then headed to Manchester to see @oasis (see last post). We wandered and ate our way through the Cotswolds and popped into Bristol to see @thisisblocparty slay at the waterfront amphitheater. As someone obsessed with both the Beatles and Peaky Blinders, Liverpool was everything. Especially getting to see the philharmonic play a Beatles tribute @thetungauditorium. We ended the trip on a high note, watching Sean Hayes in ‘Good Night Oscar’ @barbicancentre. An incredible trip and perfect escape before uprooting for our big move to Guadalajara. #england #cotswold #liverpool #uk #bristol

The 2026 Olivier Awards, held at the Royal Albert Hall and hosted by Nick Mohammed, celebrated their 50th anniversary with a strong focus on musicals.

The night was dominated by Paddington The Musical, which won seven awards, including Best New Musical. Its success spanned both performance and creative categories, with wins for its lead actors, supporting performances, direction and design.

Other major musical winners included Evita, where Rachel Zegler was named Best Actress in a Musical and Fabian Aloise won for choreography, and Into the Woods, which took home Best Musical Revival along with a design award. Good Night, Oscar was also recognised for Outstanding Musical Contribution.

Among the few non-musical highlights, Kenrex won two awards, while Oh, Mary! was named Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play.

The ceremony also featured performances celebrating milestones for The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked, alongside showcases from this year’s nominated musicals.

Overall, it was a standout year for musicals, led by the sweeping success of Paddington The Musical. @olivierawards @londontheatre @rachelzegler @jameshameed @officialartishah @tom_edden2.0 @victoriahamiltonbarritt @fabianaloise @paddingtonthemusical @kenrextheplay @intothewoodsonstage @tahrazafarltd @gilesthomasmusic @roland_horvath @aideen_malone @ashjwoodward @tompye33 @officialevita @goodnightoscar @lukejshepparduk @ohmaryplayuk @traftheatre @thelondonpalladium @savoytheatreldn

I’m so beyond proud of my husband today. While on stage for his final performance of the hit off-Broadway show “The Unknown” in NYC, we just got word that Sean received an Olivier Award for his performance in the 2025 London production of “Good Night, Oscar”. Today couldn’t get more perfect. ❤️ #TheUnknown #GoodNightOscar
