Mid week coffee cruise through Belleville and Prince Edward County!

The Dangerglide and I dropped in to @thecoffeestore_belleville for some choice pods to feed the work machine. Always excellent service here with a warm welcome and an amazing selection!

Next stop, @goodplacepec in Wellington for and americano and a raspberry muffin, both delicious, before making a stop at Wellington Rotary beach for some moody great lake atmosphere.

Finally, I ripped the Dangerglide back up hwy 33 to @fawnovermarket in Carrying Place for yet another quality americano and a choice cheddar scone to round things out.

Pretty good Wednesday in Dangerland.

The beaches in Prince Edward County - honestly, they’re among the best summer spots in Canada.

Soft sand, quiet shores, beautiful sunsets, shallow water for kids. The kind of beach days that make summer feel slower in the best way. Save this for your next trip to PEC! 🌊

Here are the beaches worth adding to your list to escape the crowds of Sandbanks / Dunes Beach:
☀️ North Beach
☀️ Little Bluff Conservation Area
☀️ Wellington Rotary Beach
☀️ Outlet Beach

Perfect for:
– family beach day, w/ paddle ball mixed in!
– couples picnics
– slow travel escapes
– Toronto weekend trips
– Montreal road trips
– Ontario summer getaways

Save this for your Prince Edward County itinerary 🏖️

Here’s how it started… In 2015 my boyfriend (now husband) invited me to go camping with his family for a weekend near Prince Edward County. I’m not a big camper to be honest (especially if I’m gonna be sleeping in a tent!) so I made a deal. I would go camping if he spent one of the days exploring Prince Edward County with me. A deal was made and we spent a day in The County. It became a tradition. One day a year we would leave the campground and explore The County, then it turned into weekend trips to get away from the city, then long weekends… until we became so obsessed with The County we almost bought a bed & breakfast there.

Unfortunately, things fell through on the b&b, but for the past 10+ years we have spend a a lot of time there and we still go back every single year for at least a long weekend (+ our annual camping trip!).

The next part of my road trip series takes us to Prince Edward County. Like, save, share … tell me what I missed. I love these posts and love sharing with all of you!!

We could all use a little more GOOD news these days, right? ✨

While this isn’t exactly “news,” I wanted to take a moment to celebrate some wonderful people who are making a positive impact here in Prince Edward County: Trish Cook and her business partner, Stew Garnham, the duo behind GOOD Place.

It’s part healthy lunch counter, part specialty shop, and all about GOOD (and delicious) things — for us and the planet. 🌎😊💕

You can sit down and enjoy a nourishing breakfast or lunch in their welcoming space, or grab something equally delicious to take with you (which I’ve done on more than one occasion 😊).

Take their GOOD Breakfast Sammie for example—once you’ve tried it, the fast-food version will never measure up. Everything I’ve had there has been both delicious and healthy, and Vegan & food sensitive friends - they’ve got you more than covered too.

Beyond the kitchen, their shelves are stocked with superfoods, specialty groceries, and eco-friendly bath + beauty goodies.

And the vibe? It’s casual and very calming. Trish, Stew, and their team work so hard so that the rest of us can relax and just enjoy their space along with their delicious offerings.

So, a big thanks to you both (and a shout-out to your behind-the-scenes partner, Linda, too!).

And what’s in a name? Well, words sure do have power and every time I drive into Wellington and spot the @goodplacepec sign, it makes me smile. And these days, that feels like an especially GOOD thing 💕😊💕

Impromptu coffee run with the besties calls for cute fits in 5 minutes and this is how I do it!

Long hair girlies know that sometimes the hair wash schedule just doesn’t line up so the cap & claw clip combo is a lifesaver.

Got the 🧢 @goodplacepec & the clip from my gal pal 😘

Camel trench over anything just looks chic and feels cozy (cuz it’s almost spring but she’s still chilly!) Snagged this one from @houseofvintagetoronto

And can we discuss how much I love my firebirds for instant vibes? 🐦‍🔥 @adidas

@_jennybird hoops go with everything and I made this necklace with my sister in NYC in November and have been wearing it ever since.

You know I love my tech so I have to have my @apple watch and a vintage looking crew from @gap goes with everything.

😘😘😘

Hello from Wellington! It’s been a looonnng cold winter so we just wanted to pop on and say that Wellington is OPEN for business and we miss you!! We know the road closure has made getting to Wellington Main Street a real pain in the ASS for some, we really appreciate everyone taking the detour and supporting us. Wishing everyone a fun and safe spring break and we hope you’ll come say hi!

Having our babymoon at Prince Edward County was the best decision ever 🤍 Here’s everything you need to know before taking a trip to the county:

📍 Stay at @angelinesinn - a charming boutique inn with 5 guestrooms that has been in the Fida family for over 30 years. Adjacent to the inn is the 9-room Walter motel & 3 quaint cottages.

🏖️ Hang at the beaches like Sandbanks, Wellington beach, North Beach, and Centennial Park.

🚶‍♀️Shop and explore all the towns like Picton, Wellington and Bloomfield.

🚜 Support local shops, businesses and farms like @peclavender, @shedchetwynfarms, @carsonsgardenmarket

🥘 Eat at some nice restaurants and cafes like @drakedevonshire, @creekside_cafe_pec, @goodplacepec, @slickersicecream, @lakeonthemountain, and more!
