A roaring good time. 🦁 30 + kids from Southwest DC spent the day at Catoctin Wildlife Preserve. The Safari Ride was magical - Camels leaning into the safari wagon for a snack. Deer, elk, rams, and emus strolling right up to them. They also saw a beautiful jaguar, bison, giant tortoises, Rhonda the pygmy hippo, and the goats who clearly run the place. Big thanks to @GOODProjectsDC for organizing the day and keeping it running smoothly. And to the Safari guides @catoctinwildlifepreserve, thank you for educating everyone about these amazing animals. For many of these kids, it was a first-time experience full of wonder and connection. A much-needed day away from the city. For kids to be kids. #aspenspark #sparksofkindness #goodprojectsdc #dcyouth

09.12.2026: Happy Birthday @bilal.abdul.wali. Rest In Power‼️ Thank you for teaching me the importance of being in service to our city‼️ There are moments when a business is measured not by what it can extract from a community, but by what it is willing to pour back into it. Today, @extrapulpglobal is proud to be of service to @goodprojectsdc and its 10th Anniversary City Kickball Classic at the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. We are bringing fresh-squeezed orange juice and handcrafted, non-alcoholic cocktails to a celebration rooted in competition, fellowship, wellness and philanthropy. It is a small contribution to a much larger effort, and that distinction matters. For a decade, @dariusbaxter and GOODProjects have demonstrated what community development can look like when it moves beyond rhetoric and into practice. Their work throughout Greater Ward 6 reflects a commitment to creating access, opportunity and meaningful pathways for young people and families in Washington, DC. That is work worth acknowledging. It is also work worth supporting. For Extra Pulp Global, being of service has always been part of the philosophy. Hospitality is our language, but connection is the objective. Sometimes that means building a brand. Sometimes it means developing an experience. And sometimes it simply means showing up with good ingredients, an open hand and a willingness to contribute. Today, we pour for the people doing the work. Congratulations to Darius Baxter and GOODProjects on ten years of community investment. Extra Pulp Global is proud to be of service.
