Grateful for a day of technical work at the range 🙏 here’s a breakdown of how I approached it from start to finish.

Slide
1. Check in with setup (posture and balance points, alignment, ball position)
2. Strengthen clubface and refine wrist structure using @gankassports_ Gsnap - this is a BIG one any time I start seeing leaky cuts and skanky strikes with irons
3. Pivot check. When I get too lateral, low point suffers in all 3 directions.
4. Put it all together in slow/exaggerated motions for a bit.
5. Let it ride.

Be the goofball at the range. Work on your game. Play Well.

Here’s how you can set up the simple chipping station from my previous post. Save this so you can easily do it next time you practice at the golf course. Basic steps:

🔹 One alignment stick on the ground just inside a foot length. Point it basically at target.
🔹 Another alignment stick an arm’s length away from target, just inside the ball, tilted just below 90°

For a station like this, I will usually work through 10-20 balls and then start moving around to different distances and targets. Comment below or grab a free 15 minute slot in my Skillest calendar and I can help answer your specific questions 👊

Here’s a video explaining how horizontal forces and unweighting elements affect your body orientation, path, and AoA. Now we don’t just want to maximize these elements and I think that is a very important point to take from this video. The goal is to find a healthy balance of these ingredients in order to help your golfer create their ideal shot shape @swingcatalyst @goodstick_golf @skilledcoaching
