Lions and pooches and pups, oh my! 🐶 Did you know today is International Dog Day? We've loved seeing your pets with our lions, lionesses and cubs this summer 🧡 📸 Got a pic of your dog with one of our sculptures? Don't forget to tag us! A photograph of a spaniel dog sat in front of a pink lion sculpture. They are both facing the camera, and in the background the sky is bright blue. The lion features love-heart sweets illustrations all over its face.

If you have been following my stories you'll have seen that Kabuki, Freya and I have set ourselves a challenge of finding at least 30 of the Scotties on the @maggiesscottiestrail sculpture trail all around Glasgow as we try to raise £1000 for @maggiescentres We have split the trail in to sections and have completed 3 parts so far and have 3 left to go and have photographed 17 Scotties so far. The trail ends this coming weekend and we would love to reach our goal. Every donation goes directly to Maggie's Centres who provide support to those living with cancer and those who love them all across the UK. A whistle stop tour of Glasgow to see more Scotties! We saw 31 of the big Scotties 🩷🥰 The trail ends this weekend, and this is our last day of visiting. It sure has been fun to explore Glasgow and to use the @maggiesscottiestrail to collect the Scotties! Scroll to see the doggies, the River Clyde looking spectacular and a map of what we’ve covered 🥰 So, we have: 1. Scottie the Bruce - super Scottish Scottie ❤️💛 2. Robo Doggo - like how cool is this 😍 3. Ctrl+Alt+Deleash (this one has a cog on it’s butt 🤣) 4. Mother’s Pride - I like baked goods and it’s super close to purveyor of fine baked goods @mapleleaf.bakery 5. Shipyard Scottie at the riverside museum - I loved the colours of this one 🥰🩷💜💙 6. Clyde @theclydeside 7. Sir Wags A Lot! At the Scottish Piping centre and boy, was there some piping going on!

Some people do Munro bagging, well that’s too much like hard work so we went Scotty dog bagging! However, I still walked 7.5 miles today so I think I was conned! My little cousins came along, and it was such fun! Swipe through to see who we met! 1. Kelvin - at the Kelvingrove museum (it’s not dog friendly, oh what a shame!!) He had a super handsome face and the fishes were so pretty 😍 2. The Clockwork Orange - based on Glasgow’s extensive and complex subway system. 3. Cù-sìth. At the Necropolis. This is fairy dog from Scottish folklore, Poor thing looks starved - you can really see his bones! 4. Dear Green Palace - This was my favourite cos it had a red squirrel on it! I love squirrels. This one is near where Uncle Andrew works at the university - he came to meet us for lunch and I was sooooo excited to see him 🩷 5. Rennie - by the Cathedral. I wasn’t super keen for photos as it was near the road and it was noisy! Handsome boy with thistles 🩷 6. Scotlands Big 5 - in Kelvingrove Park. I made it my mission to make it super awkward to get a good photo! This one shows native animals in a band! Trippy Hopefully we’ll be able to go see some more before they are auctioned off!
