Ran into Polyphony’s Taku-san at Pebble. What do you think about the idea of a Maserati Vision GT concept?

With @thegranturismo sharing a highlight video of the @millemigliaofficial Gran Turismo Experience recently, it’s also time for me to talk about the event itself.
But firstly I would like to thank Polyphony Digital Inc., Toyota as well as the organisation of the Mille Miglia for making this whole trip an unforgettable experience which I will cherish forever. Additionally @toyota_collection for providing us an icon throughout the entire trip, the Toyota Supra A80 MK4. I already liked the Supra a lot when playing Gran Turismo as well as Need for Speed during my childhood but I can understand why this car has lots of fans and it’s also quite desirable these days. You wouldn’t think that the Supra we drove is already 33 years old!

As for the rally itself, it was difficult to realise that we were driving a rally against other competitors on the very same road which you share with normal citizens too. Thus it was super difficult to keep an eye on the normal traffic, not missing the signs as well as trying to be quick still. Then each driving day lasted for around 10-12h where we only had time to rest ourselves for around 4-5h before we had to start the next rally stage.
We were lucky to use A/C throughout the entire during the heat so now imagine all the other drivers not being able to use the A/C during that weather. Hence my respect for all the other competitors as well as the WRC drivers went up by a lot again!

Furthermore I can understand why so many people love Italy:
It has one of the most beautiful landscapes I have seen in my life, the food is delicious as well as the people over there reminded me a lot of the people in Türkiye, how friendly, passionate and hospitable they are. Hopefully I have the chance to visit the countryside of Italy once again in the future.

Best part of the entire trip was to learn how to act as a Co-Driver, having the chance to meet new people and making friends immediately!
And celebrating my 27th birthday! 🎂😊

Hopefully I have the chance to do this again in the future but once again I would like to thank everyone for making this possible! Until next time 👋

1000 MIGLIA 2026 - AWESOME
It is a shame that you do not have time to make picture because you have to keep up with all the fantastic drivers and of course beautiful cars.

Somehow I could capture a few after a 14h and 3min and 499,77km race from @comunedimontecatiniterme to @roma // 3rd leg // June 11th 🙏
