Tomorrow WILL McCARTHY will deliver a collection of his Atmospheric Landscapes. These are just 4 of his paintings to be included in the upcoming group show NATURE IN BALANCE. It officially opens on JULY 11th with an opening reception, 3-6pm.

** The show will be up and ready to preview on July 4th weekend. Be the first to see it. Weekend hours are Friday through Monday noon-5.

About @williammccarthyfineart :
Memory serves as the foundation of Will’s creative process. His luminous oil paintings emerge from recollections of landscapes both recent and distant. Depicting trees against expansive skies, fields, and rivers, McCarthy creates atmospheric compositions that feel simultaneously familiar and mysterious. Whether solitary or grouped, his trees appear both carefully arranged and naturally occurring, capturing fleeting variations of light and mood.

Alongside Will, ERIN DANIELS, LAURA STROH & ARLENE STEINBERG rounds out the exhibit, each with a unique style.

Thank you @williammccarthyfineart @erindaniels_artist @laura.stroh.73 & @arlenesteinberg for your mutual enthusiasm when invited to participate in the gallery’s summer of ‘26 calendar.

Together let’s celebrate the arts and the nation’s 250th milestone.

“Petals in Parallel” by ANDREA THOMPSON arrived yesterday. A masterful mixed media composition of photography and pastel, 34x29”, this is a must see.

A brief description follows:
In “Petals in Parallel”, the organic world is reimagined through a lens of layered complexity. This piece is a signature exploration of tactile depth, blending the sharp precision of photography with the ethereal, hand-blended softness of pastels and digital collage.

The artwork is grounded by a century-old vintage frame, specifically chosen to bridge the gap between the historic and the contemporary. The weathered patina and ornate craftsmanship of the 100-year-old wood provide a soulful, weighted contrast to the vibrant, modern energy of the mixed media within.

Andrea writes, “I want the spectator to get lost in the layers—to find something new every time the light hits the texture.”

Thank you #andreathompsonphotography @visionsofbutterflies_art for the pleasure of representing you and exhibiting your work @williamrisgallery #williamrisgallery .
