Missing my girl in Calgary!!
Last month was stressful!! Full of ups and downs!! I mean the ups were hella up but the downs were hella down!! But one up was I got to see @author_elenahcovens TWICE!!
One spot we visited before I had to leave was the Good Trade Coffee Company.

What was ordered:

-Pumpkin Loaf (6.5/10): The taste was good, but some parts were drier than others. But the parts that weren't dry really did hit home. So if we can get it consistent throughout, that would be great!!

-Ice Americano (10/10): I am not an Americano girl at all, so I did not try this. But my girl she's all about coffee and Americanos. She said this was a 10 outta 10. It is all you want an Americano to be, if you are into them!!

- Strawberry Hibiscus Iced Tea (8.5/10): This was refreashing & just the right amount of sweetness!! Great summer seasonal drink!!

I definitely would return here for a drink while I read a book I just bought at the Pages Bookstore that's just up the road of the Good Trade Coffee Comapny.
This place is in the great location of Kensington Calgary!!

Grab breakfast at Crossroads Market before you start your day.

We tried a protein bowl with oatmeal, blueberries and raspberries from Protein Point, coffee from @goodtradeco and a chocolate croissant from @thebreadboxbakery.ca because who deosn’t need a little breakfast dessert.

What is your go to breakfest at Crossroads?

Maybe a good life is just a bunch of ordinary days that fill you with warmth and joy 🥹

Walked to @kensingtonyyc , stopped for coffee at @goodtradeco + @the_roasterie , hopped on the train and ended up at @firststreetmarketyyc for food.

Nothing crazy. Just a really good Saturday in Calgary 💛

Calgary has no shortage of great coffee, but these are the cafés I'd recommend to anyone new to the city (or anyone looking for a new favorite spot). ☕✨

Each one has its own vibe, whether you're looking for a quiet place to work, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Did your favorite make the list? If not, drop your recommendation in the comments. I’m always looking for my next coffee stop! 👇

GET READY FOR FOLK FEST // Heading to Calgary Folk Fest? Make Kensington part of your day. With the festival officially kicking off this Thursday, July 23, Kensington is the perfect place to recharge between performances or on your way.

Grab a bite to eat! Kensington has plenty of great places to choose from, including @tutaco.ca and @originaljoes if you are in the mood for a meal. Looking for something refreshing? Cool off with an acai bowl from @oakberry.ca or get an iced coffee from @goodtradeco.

Before heading back to the festival, pick up a few Folk Fest essentials. Grab sunscreen at @canary.goods and complete your festival look with a hat or dress from @kismet_calgary, scarf from @ingear_store and jewellery from @mananaimports.

Hang out in the neighbourhood on your way to the festival. Pop by @vinestylesyyc for a complimentary wine tasting where you can discover your wine style. Channel your own creativity with some pottery painting at @colorcafecalgary.
