🌟 Parent Night Spotlight: Goodwill Industries of Mississippi! @goodwillms

We’re excited to highlight Goodwill Industries of Mississippi and the incredible work they do to help individuals build skills, explore career opportunities, and prepare for meaningful employment!

Through their partnership with the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS), Goodwill provides students with valuable Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), including digital literacy training, virtual reality career exploration, self-advocacy, and postsecondary planning. These experiences help students discover their strengths, develop workplace skills, and prepare for life beyond the classroom! 🌟

We’re thankful for community partners like Goodwill who are committed to empowering our students, promoting independence, and helping them take the next steps toward a successful future!

Shopping at @goodwillms has been a lifesaver as an international student living on a budget! 💰

Especially for my international students who have just arrived in the U.S. after spending so much money on applications, visa fees, flights, and other preparations, Goodwill is one place worth checking out!

You can find Goodwill stores in many cities across the U.S. Simply search for a location near you and discover affordable finds, from clothing to household essentials. You can get great items at budget-friendly prices without breaking the bank.

Remember, living on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy life. It means learning to spend wisely! ❤️🇺🇸

Your international student plug is here to remind you: save money where you can!

These are some of my favorite places to go thrifting and find great secondhand items.

I’ve been shopping secondhand for over 10 years and I have so many amazing fines and these are the best places I shop at all the time

Drifting is fun and enjoyable, but most importantly it is very good for the planet and keeping preloaded items out of landfills and giving well used items a second life
