We 💜 local music!

This year, Minnesota Fringe played tracks by over 25 local artists before festival shows. As audience members filled our theaters and found their seats, they could jam out to our state’s talented music scene.

If you heard a song and loved it - or just want to support local musicians - check out our 2026 Minnesota Fringe playlist (🔗 in bio) Listen to our playlist on the Minnesota Music Archive Spotify channel or wherever you get your music.

Are you a local artist or music lover? The Minnesota Music Archive is a digital hub of Minnesota-made music and stories. Donate or borrow your music to the Minnesota Music Archive, for it to be preserved and discovered for years to come. Learn more at minnesotamusicarchive.org

🪲 Our album “molting” is out now!!! 🪰

After many years of experimenting, shedding, evolving, and decomposing, we are so happy to share this collection of songs.

And we canNOT wait to celebrate with our pals @fullcatholic and @third.date.band at our release show at @thecedar tomorrow night!! 🪩

Any album is the result of a wealth of collaborations, and we have many thank you’s to give:

To @signaturetone for trusting the process (which included tinkering with many layers of insect field recordings and synthesizers) and seeing us through the recording, mixing, and mastering.

To @freaquedom and Ian (@goon_tribune) for lending your INCREDIBLE talents to the songs Decompose and Casaubon Has Spoken. These truly wouldn’t be the same without y’all.

To @bjornd.al for designing sick t-shirts (which you can snag at our show tomorrow!)

To @marlaolivia for taking gorge new portraits of us and @iamadot and @intheheartofthebeast for contributing projections and puppets for our show tomorrow night.

Find “molting” on all streaming services (except Spotify!) & Bandcamp and get tickets to our show at the 🔗 in our bio.

Minneapolis ska is not pulling any punches as @runawayricochet goes off on ICE in "Choke 'Em if you Got 'Em" and they brought in @goon_tribune to add in a verse as the music community, the arts community, and the entire city stand together, united with their immigrant neighbors to fight the spread of fascism in the streets sent in by the federal government.

Read my review and stream the song on @starttrack_com
