💗🏒 What a night. What a win. A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped make the @griffinshockey Sensory & Support Game such a powerful, heart-filled success.

From inviting fans to share love through “I Support” cards, to selling co-branded shirts, hosting the sensory room, passing out pink hearts, and holding space for so many meaningful conversations; YOU showed up in every way that mattered.

✨ We are endlessly grateful for your time, compassion, & heart. This night was a success because of you.

💗✨ A message from our Founder, @vonniewoodrick, “As this year comes to a close, I am reminded of our 2025 word of the year: Grateful. 🫶🏼 Grateful for a community that chooses to understand when life gets complicated & misunderstood. Grateful for moments of connection that remind us we’re not alone.

i understand continues to grow due to the universal need for connection & community. Honoring an individual’s lived experience through grief, or mental heath struggles, is a core pillar of our organization.

✨ Simply put, i understand exists because listening matters. Because words matter. Because showing up for one another can make all the difference.

I’m grateful for our board members, volunteers, donors, & community partners. Your generosity, presence, & belief in this work help create spaces where people feel seen, supported, & less alone. 🩷

✨ To all those who are missing their loved one, remember: Love Never Dies, it grows stronger. 🥂 Here’s to ending the year with gratitude, & stepping forward with hope & growth!”

📞 Struggling? Call or text 988 for 24/7 support.

🩷🦃 Today & everyday, we are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you—for your strength, your stories, & the love you carry for those who are no longer here. You inspire us every day to keep advocating, & creating spaces of comfort, hope, & understanding.

We also know the holidays can be hard.
Loss feels heavier.
Memories feel closer.
Silent struggles get louder.

If that’s where you are today, please remember: you are not alone. Not today, not ever.

💝✨ This season, we’re reflecting on the quiet gifts our loved ones leave behind. The ones you can’t see, but you deeply feel:

• the gift of love
• the gift of memories
• the gift of compassion, & the reminder that we never truly know what someone else is carrying

❤️📞 If you’re struggling, support is here 24/7. Call or text 988 anytime. Our support groups are here too, a safe place to breathe, share, & find hope.
