When Hope Comes Alive 🫂

SWCDC's Love Keeps Hope Alive: Stories of Care, an exhibition celebrating the love and strength that caregivers give every day. A few weekends ago the exhibit was featured at the Public Health Service (PHS) event organised by NUS Medicine students. It was a joy seeing people show up to celebrate and honour the caregivers in their lives! 💖

Thank you to all the caregivers who trusted us with their stories, and to everyone who helped bring Love Keeps Hope Alive: Stories of Care to life. 🌻

My first train ride experience (ever) happened when I was in Singapore for a work trip. 🤓

I know it's just a train ride and not a big deal but I rarely get the chance to do these kind of things even here in the PH because I'm from a rural area. Grateful for my colleagues at @brainjuicecollective who guided me through the experience and made sure that I get to try new things with the time we had. ✨

After months of staring at plans on a screen, I finally flew to Singapore to see a project come to life. It was my first time doing an event there, and I had to quickly get used to the fast moving pace on the ground. We def hit a few hiccups and had our fair share of internal panic, but the team handled everything so well it often felt effortless. I’m really grateful to @brainjuicecollective for the opportunities to step up, stretch, and grow through experiences like this. 🌟

We were there to deliver a workplace culture activation centred on how people work, connect, and show up for one another in a more intentional way. Tbh, seeing it all come together in real time was the best part.

What made it even more meaningful was the people I did it with. It took everyone, remote and onsite, to pull this off. And I feel very lucky to be part of a team that works hard, adapts fast, and somehow still finds time to laugh even when things get chaotic. 🤪

The rest of the SG trip was just a lovely bonus. One of the most spontaneous trips I’ve made in a while, stepping out of routine and into a completely different rhythm where work and life naturally blended throughout the week.

Looking back at these moments, I’m reminded of how much our environment shapes how we grow, and the people we grow with… and also how important snacks and drinks are for survival 🍺🍜😉

Every office has meetings.
Ours also has aliens, chickens, melted mangoes, emotional support, and the coldest aircon known to mankind.

Safe to say that life at BJC is never boring 🫶
