Recovery update 🤍

Still a roller coaster. Some days better than others, two steps forward, one step back but slowly heading in the right direction!

Managed 3 lower body sessions this week, with numbers slowly climbing. No rush, just mindful progress. Right now, consistency with lighter sessions matters more than pushing too hard and paying for it later.

So grateful for @gorillachiro & Dr. @liamdonaldsonn
Big win for the week is also that my upper body is the best he’s ever felt it. And Im pretty sad that next week is our last session. The help I have received leading up to comp and recovery followed, has been invaluable!

Training hard has always been part of who I am, so feeling more capable again is definitely lifting my spirits.

As frustrating as this has been, it’s teaching me patience, resilience and trust in the process and has allowed me to make space for life beyond training and fitness.

We all have a story, mine was always choosing the hard way. Growing up it was a challenge. Now, I make this shit look easy 💪🏼🥹💓

Deload week for my Marathon this Sunday. Only have a small shake out 1.5km Saturday left.

Thank you @define.physio for releasing and sorting my legs out. They’ve been under some stress.

Thank you @gorillachiro for adjusting my whole body and getting me sorted weekly 🙏🏽.

Marathon is closing in. Can’t wait to get after it !

If you’ve tried everything to try and fix your lower back pain, there might be more to it that ISN’T physical.

@ifbbproleagueoz DEBUT SEASON DONE ✅
My mindset was always to go in and have fun! And we did exactly that! I connected with so many beautiful, like minded athletes that really puts it into perspective that this sport is not actually a lonely sport. We all thrive in our peace, but when we come together the family like support and love for the sport and each other!

You’d go through your phase physically and mentally! And even though the show is done most of us will go onto the next phase. And that’s where the growing and next athlete is built!

So thank to my coach Craig! His first female athlete to compete in a WA states show and to go onto nationals! What we created I couldn’t be more proud of! We know what we need to do and where to go from here! I’m so excited for the next season already!

When I got up on stage, I completely zoned out! The music was gone and all I could hear was the crowd!
Going through my routine, Then at the end of my last quarter turn I hear @sweetfillychilly yell “THATS MY WIFE!” 🥹💍 knowing there was a reason I couldn’t hear the music, because that was our moment to celebrate….WE DID THIS! I made it to the first stage!! 🎉👏

This post needed no music because the last slide you can see the video of my beautiful husband 🤍

Now onto nationals @ifbbproleagueoz

Here we have it! WA SEASON C 2026 FIGURE ATHLETE Rego day, my first of many to come! And number 63 one of my favourite numbers!!!!! We knew going in today it could go one way or another, and it went the way we weren’t hoping for but we are taking it as it comes! I registered the only figure athlete. What does this mean? THE STAGE IS FKN MINE!!! Yes it means I’m up there by myself and it won’t actually be a competitive placing and I’ll walk away with medals either way but this just goes to show how little the figure community is in Perth. And we made the right choice to do nationals to go onto Melbourne and come up against some phenomenal women! I would have loved to go side by side other athletes because I have such a competitive side to me, I go for blood 🩸 but nonetheless! Perth you’re about to be my playground! Nationals we are bringing a whole different package! I did kept saying I already won hehe 💪🏼 LFG 🔥

Rest day routines 💪🏼 been collaborating with these people during my prep and even years prior to this!
You can do all the cardio, all the training but if you are not resting and recovering properly (not just popping a panadol and carrying on) you don’t really know what true health is 💪🏼

As this prep slowly comes creeping up fast to show day! Meeting & connecting with some amazing people has been so rewarding!

This week! We push! Come nationals we’ll hopefully look completely different from the WA show!

It’s all about consistency, patience, trust and working good damn hard with you and your coaches.

And along the way don’t forget to show love to your partners! Whether it’s your husband, fiancé, partner in crime, friends and family! We are in it together!
