GORLEBEN brings with the new album MENETEKEL the predicted apocalypse into the present.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey everyone!
We’ve put together a sort of tour diary from our trip round Europe opening for the mighty @evoken_doom_official Don't expect anything fancy or polished. It's just bits of footage grabbed on the fly. It's cinema verité. The sound's rubbish, the video quality is phone-grade, there's no big production behind it.
It's simply the truth of what we lived through a few weeks ago. In a way it demystifies the whole idea of a "tour", because a lot of the time you're dealing with dodgy situations, problems, tiny venues with barely any crowd, and other times massive stages packed with people... from the tiny (but iconic) @le_klub in Paris, to the massive @partysanmetalopenair in Germany. Completely different worlds, just a couple of days apart. That's also what makes it so special. Behind us now are thousands of kilometres, loads of madness, sleepless nights and exhaustion. And also a massive happiness we'll treasure forever.

Without further ado, you can now get a proper look at what "going on tour" actually means. And we hope you enjoy it. Ditch any idea of glamour or grandeur. This is the underground of the underground. We did it, and we'd do it all again tomorrow without a second thought. And special thanks for Jose at @doomedevents for making this happen.

Shoutout to all the bands and new friends we met on our trip: @fuckdigital, @balmogrevelation, @ophis_band, @plomb.band @ataraxieofficial, @doom.ship, @oliver_schreyer, @little_ms_m00nshine, @cudgelmetalmailorder, @the_portuguese_wolf, @mourningbelovethofficial, @phlebotomizedmetal, @mylamentband @warby666, @evertsonpim, the mighty UNSTRUT from Berlin, the super cool @gorleben.band (thanks for the grilled fish), Lucas of Hnilomorna, the mighty @sonsofarrakis and @aeturna.official

WITH LOVE, TodoMal.

The tour keeps moving forward. Yesterday we played Munich, in a very special venue, @backstagemunich. @evoken_doom_official once again showed why they’re one of the great titans of funeral doom, and it was great discovering @sonsofarrakis. Once again, thanks to everyone who came out, and to @doomedevents for keeping on top of a thousand things since we started the tour. Today it’s Dresden, @chemiefabrik_dresden, with @gorleben.band ... little by little we’re getting closer to the end of the journey. See you tonight!

- 20.10.2026 - CULT OF FIRE – The One, Who Made of Smoke Mini Tour | Hellraiser Leipzig

Special Guest: GORLEBEN

Einlass 18:30 Uhr
Beginn 19:30 Uhr

Cult of Fire is an atmospheric metal band with Hindu and Buddhist themes that was formed in 2010. Although the band’s focus was different in their early years, everything changed in 2013 with their album मृत्यु का तापसी अनुध्यान, which according to the band was „the most complex and deep work of art“ they had ever created. The album was built around the goddess Kali, Aghoris, and funeral rites in India and its immediate surroundings.

Before each album, Vlad travels to India, where he places offerings on altars, worships gods in local temples, and meditates. He draws inspiration and energy from this and then puts it into the music and stage presence of the band. The vast majority of everything used on stage during Cult of Fire’s live performances comes from India and Nepal. Cult of Fire is a musical tribute and worship of Hindu and Buddhist deities and their live shows are an exhibition of Tantric rituals, Aghoris, Kali, Shiva and other deities. For those who are drawn to ancient rituals and the scent of the Orient and want to be transported thousands of miles to the East, Cult of Fire will give you that experience.

Founded in 2010, GORLEBEN describes their style as a mixture of Death, Doom and Black Metal enriched with atmospheric and rudimentary elements.

⏳ 𝙶𝙾𝚁𝙻𝙴𝙱𝙴𝙽 '𝙼𝙴𝙽𝙴𝚃𝙴𝙺𝙴𝙻' ⏳

Founded in 2010, GORLEBEN describes their style as a apocalyptic mixture of Death, Doom and Black Metal enriched with clean vocals and atmospheric and frightening synthesizer/keyboard elements.

"Menetekel" is a warning about the destruction of our civilization and that the countdown on it is already running. Using time as a central element, GORLEBEN brings the predicted apocalypse into our present and makes it tangible from two temporal dimensions. The four tracks inevitably reflects the path of an uncertain future, marked among other things by the voracity of humanity. GORLEBEN divides, peering from an unknown future into the bleak present – mene tekel upharsin.
