Thank you for letting us feed you && your family. We pride ourselves on only serving the best products while advocating for && supporting local farmers && ranchers. The MeatWerks is so much more than a simple meal. It’s who we are!

Our owner, Derek Heersink, is a long-time farmer. He grew the barley used to brew @sparekegbrewerks beer on his farm in the SLV for many years! Growing up, his family raised cattle && goats. He has an Agricultural Science degree from CSU. The lifestyle of farming && ranching has been && continues to be close to his heart!

Huge smiles and big victories

Huge thank you to Colorado Recycling/Gallegos family,

Thank you to @westharescrambles for trusting us and allowing us to showcase our backyard to the big boys, and for the best memories of our year.

after harvest, the grain is cleaned, milled, baked, and delivered to the community’s shelf.

this is the original path — the first miller, the first baker, the first outreach partner we ever worked with. it hasn’t changed since 2022, and it didn’t need to.

it’s hunger action month. instead of a mission statement, here’s the actual thing.

Was a good day for a bad day!

Bad day on the machine, popped a hole in my stator cover after all these crashes and close calls, ended my day early.

Kudos to @davebower755 for another home race on the most epic trails. Huge thanks to @mattentzsnow helping me push my bike 2mi, until the tow team came through @bwrapco @chrisdvestal s/o to @colbytrue and Corey for finding me some oil and getting me home!

@westharescrambles next!
