This was an awesome event on a cold afternoon/ early evening in the heart of our favorite local cemetery!
Was amazing to see so many people, vendors, bands, and supporters of this incredible spot!
Definitely threw me for a loop at the beginning with the amount of cars parked and seeing so many new faces strolling about when there are usually just a few in the peace and quiet of this sacred and historic expanse!

Definitely check out more events here this month and as usual can’t wait to get back and do more exploring!

Wyn & the White Light is the pomegranate-infused haunted-soul-rock band led by two-time New England Music Award “Female Performer of the Year” nominee Wyn Doran. Forged from the shared experience of confronting mortality through medical trauma, the band transforms songs of chronic illness, survival and adversity into a visceral, cathartic live experience—complete with the therapeutic audience screams that have become a signature of their shows.

Their debut album, Luck, is a 34-minute journey through the divine feminine and near-death experience, turning some of life’s darkest moments into an invitation to let the light back in.

Thee Phibbs are swamp folk husband and wife duo from Providence, Rhode Island. They specialize in limiting themselves with simplistic acoustic instruments with the goal of bringing forth the eerie and the ethereal from the mundane.

DiTrani Brothers are a southern Vermont based band that combine elements of early jazz, swing, Balkan music, punk and metal, this all coalescing into a series of varying yet consistent songwriting that emphasizes melody, odd meter, and moody passages.

RI/MA band Hemlok has evolved into a weird instrumental juggernaut of odd times and weird melodies. John McGrath (guitars/devices), Nate Dilgard (Bass/devices), and Aleciel Vieira (Drums/Synth) last conjured up an album - “Of Entropy and Illumination” - on Yuggoth Records, and have further works in progress now - Expect more stories of strange, faraway places soon. On 9/5, I had a rockin' good time celebrating @lyzstar and @shawnrefuse 's 10th anniversary and vow renewal. It was a musical celebration filled with love and happiness. Wishing Shawn and Lyz endless blessings as you continue to grow in love and song.

It’s time again to spend the evening at the cemetery with us! We’re back for our 5th Mausoleum Hill Sessions at @pvdnorthburialground in Providence, RI and its proving to be another magical autumn night!

Join us on Sunday, October, 18th for a day of music, crafts, and culture, while being surrounded by local history. Bring all the comforts your need: picnic, blankets, chairs, etc. and sit amongst the graves of Providence’s distant past while being serenaded by wonderful local and regional music makers brought together to create the perfect ambiance to a crisp fall evening.

This year we’re bringing you TWO STAGES of music to enjoy. Our Old Chapel Stage will feature larger performances while solo songwriters will be setting the scene on our Mausoleum Stage. Meanwhile, in between stages will be our Harvest Market which will have a plethora of goods, artwork, crafts & creations waiting to be perused along Central Ave!

*For those who’ve attended before the Old Chapel Stage is where festivities were last year and our Mausoleum Stage will be back where it all started! Maps will be provided, signs will guide you, and pathways will be lit lightly but having a flashlight or lantern on hand is a good idea too!

You’re free to bring any picnic materials to enjoy the event, plus we will have Rebels Rations ( @rebels_rations ) in the market cooking up food as well as LongLive Beerworks ( @longlivebeerworks ) covering beer for attendees.
