When your soulmate is your Dog…

Sometimes your dog is your soulmate. Not in the romantic sense, but in the way they understand you better than anyone else ever could. They don’t need words to know when something’s wrong, they just feel it, like they’re in tune with your heartbeats, your silences. There’s a bond there that runs deeper than anything you can explain, a kind of connection that makes everything else seem less important. They don’t judge, they don’t leave, they’re just there, fully present in a way that makes you realize how rare that is. People talk about finding their soulmate in another person, but sometimes, it’s been sitting right next to you, tail wagging, eyes full of that unshakable, unconditional love.

🍀”𝒯𝒽𝒾𝓇𝓈𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝒹𝒾𝓈𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑒, 𝓈𝑜 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝑜 𝒶 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝒸𝓊𝓇𝑒” 🍀

4 weeks to the day.
Both of the restaurants that shaped who I am as a person are done. The past 23 years of my career in the Portland restaurant industry has been built on the back bone of @bullfeeneys. I suppose bitter sweet is an emotion to have, but it’s been almost 16 years since I was an employee there.
However, 7 years of my most important memories were through the door of 375 Fore Street, so much laughter, tears, love, and much more were born there. I learned what best friends were. I learned what discipline was, I learned what to do and what not to do in the future when opening my own businesses..

One of the best things however was the people I met. These people shaped my life. Every single person involved in that restaurant, during those years, are a literal part of me, and lots of them I am still very close with to this day. There are some I haven’t seen in years, but I have no question that it would be like we never lost touch if we were to connect again. While it did have its bad and dark times, Bull Feeneys gave me something I’m so incredibly thankful for, and it’s all of you.

Please share your memories- and I’m sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone- tag away ❤️🍀

I read once that each pet that comes into your life paints your world with one very specific color that doesn’t come from anywhere else or any other pet. My world is full of beautiful colors 🖤✨🐾 #family #mykids #squad #pomeranian #pom #pomsky #sheltie
