Today I got my tattoo touched up by one of my dear friends and today we remembered our cherished friend on her death day. It's been 1 year since Isabel passed away and all I want to say to her is this:

Isabel, at your celebration of life I learned you were always afraid of being forgotten. I was so surprised to learn that someone so amazing, someone who had touched so many lives, had worried about being forgotten. I just want you to know that Morgan and I talk about you all the time. I wear this bracelet that I made at your celebration of life with 4 stars for each of us everytime I need you and our memories. You were the first friend I lost and I will never forget you. I think of you close to every day and look to you as if you are there with me to guide me through my day. I have never and will never forget you. And one day, I will have a tattoo to continue to remember you. I miss all the opportunites we never got to share. Thank you for being with me 💫

I have thought about making this post for a while now, but can never seem to come up with the words…!! Dearest sweet Isabel, thank you for always being a friend to me, for making me smile and laugh, and for letting me be a part of your life. I think of you every day and I can only imagine how many other lives you have touched. You are truly one in a million and I’m so glad to have met you. It was so funny when we saw each other out of cosplay in the fanime bathroom and both thought “wow they’re so cute” and then realized we already met. HAHA 💗💕 I wish we could have spent more time together but I treasure the moments we had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! May you Rest In Peace my giant salamander💓I love you!

On June 25th, I said goodbye to Isabel at her memorial. I meant to post this earlier, but I wanted to set up her alter space in my room. I finally cleaned my room and put my space together for her and I'm really proud of it. Isabel was my first close loss. She was such a beautiful soul and I learned so much more about her at her memorial from family and friends who all spoke about her. I never knew her favorite color was also yellow like mine, or that she was also into crystals and other spiritual things. It was an extremely emotional day, but I am so happy I endured it because I feel closer to her and got to see all the sides of her. I have so many keepsakes to remind me of her now and her aunt even gave me some crystals from the alter they had set up to commemorate her and I will never forget that moment. I broke into tears when she gave the citrine crystals to me and the houndstooth to go with them. I am so glad we made a beautiful little friend with her in it and she will forever be the star, never forgotten (I promise you that Isabel) 💛
I love you @gothyoshi

It has officially been a week without Isabel. I haven't lost many people near me, but this has been the closest loss so far. Isabel was so funny and creative. Her makeup and cosplay skills were brilliant! What hurts most about losing Isabel is all the things we never got to do and never got to know about eachother. We were friends with the barrier of school inbetween us. I never went to a convention with her, and only hung out a handful of times, but those moments were filled with so many positive emotions. @morriganism and I have lost our one of the key members of the art hoe group 😞 You will always be remembered. Thank you for making Ginger a meme so I can always think of you when I antagonize and pet her. I miss you so much.

Also sorry Morgan for stealing all your pics, I literally only had like 4 photos with Isabel.

Throw back to fanime?? Or crx? I can’t remember but I hardly posted any pics of these cosplays! I’ve been catching up on all the new characters and drama tracks for hypmic recently and I love it all so much! I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I got into it 🥺🌸🍬🍭🍰.
