Hi guys I’m back from the dead 😭

So this is probably one of my favorite cases tied with the last case of AA3! Edgeworth’s backstory I remember caught me so off guard the first time because I didn’t expect this silly game to get so dark 😭 I really enjoy the depth they give to this character arc though and the intricacies of why he grew up to be so cold hearted like Von Karma due to his influence. This turning point in Phoenix and Miles’ relationship is kinda where I think their ship comes from. Even if you don’t ship them somehow you can’t really deny the bond they have here. Also the memes that came out of this case are iconic💀🫶

So there’s i think a misconception in the fandom that every third case of each game is horrible, but I don’t think so. This case sets up the running step-ladder/ladder gag that goes throughout the series and has the big Narumitsu line yk (unnecessary feelings) so there’s a lot of good parts to this case. Obviously it’s not a big favorite, but I think it established a lot of good run-on plots like Oldbag and the steel samurai reappearing in multiple games later on. I do think it’s rlly funny tho that they just bring the mafia into AA lmao like what are they doing there
