i’m holding grief and joy loosely in my hands these days, and that’s okay. i’m sifting through lots of feelings but am profoundly grateful for friends willing to commit to the bit and have some cake about it. a month and a half of this year in and i’m feeling an abundance of gratitude for friends and family— auntie life continues to crack my heart open, and i have had an inordinate amount of fabulous meals and memories already. the vibes of 2024 may be in shambles, but i’m choosing to bask in the lovely moments for now 🌱❤️‍🩹🤘🖤✨🫶

January was such a freakin’ blast kicking off this tour. I don’t know what compelled me to come north in the dead of winter. All about that ⚡️character development⚡️

Before I retire the parka, I’m getting ready to head out to VANCOUVER in just a couple of weeks! I’m so thrilled to be on the @jflvancouver lineup. You can catch me at The Pearl on Feb. 22.

Tickets are already flying for that one — grab ‘em quick! Follow the Linktree in my bio and I’ll see you there 🤓

My family lost our cat Pearl yesterday. After 17 years, it’s not just the loss of a pet, but the end of an era. We named her after the star of Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay’s Funny or Die video “The Landlord” in which a tiny yet terrifying toddler, Pearl, harasses Ferrell for his rent. It was a niche namesake, but shockingly apt. Cheers to our gal who terrorized the guests of my 8th birthday party by chomping on all of their toes, who disappeared for nearly 6 months after our move to Seattle only to reappear fatter and a little more chill than when she left, who would bring chaos in the form of live chipmunks and decapitated rabbits into our house, and who always told you she’d had enough pets with a firm CHOMP on your hand. She was kind of a bitch, but she was our bitch. Now, take your beer and get out of here.
