"A Series of Lines & Verses
Impressions • Memories • Self

With this collection I am playing with the idea of imagery as notes or words, sequencing them into lines and verses, changing their meaning as you change their order, similar to the syntax of Chinese writing.

The triptych is a visual haiku, taking your focus and attentions beyond logical patterned thinking, beyond anticipated responses of what you’re looking at, and into another way of experiencing stored memories and feelings."
_______________

🏵️ Selected by @anne.murayama, this three-image sequence is a Submission Highlight from our ongoing 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥: 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐬.

🏵️ Submit a sequence of 3 horizontal images that form a narrative or visual arc for an opportunity to be featured in a group publication and a physical exhibition during the 𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, happening in Tokyo from October 17–27.

🏵️ Final selection is curated by @anne.murayama, assisted by @meitanteisara and @____espectro____.

As a thank you for supporting this paid open call, which serves as our independent community production fund, every single submitting artist receives a guaranteed 𝟐𝟓% 𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭!

📌 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: Our Triptychs open call officially closed on July 15th, and we are no longer accepting new entries. We are incredibly excited to share this final round of submission highlights with you over the coming days!
