That was just the kickoff. Night of Inspiration lands December 5th 🗓️ and we are excited. 🎶

Wednesday at Carnegie Hall felt like a family reunion. Media, artists, old friends, new names, all in one room for one reason. An intimate performance set the tone for what's coming.

December 5 🗓️ at 8 PM: Donald Lawrence, Tramaine Hawkins, Jekalyn Carr, Jonathan McReynolds, Lisa Knowles-Smith and the Brown Singers, plus a tribute to Richard Smallwood. Pastor Shirley Caesar takes the Agape Award. 🏆

GMB was in the building for the kick-off. We will be back for the main event.

Quick trip to New York for Carnegie Hall’s Coming Home To Carnegie, previewing the 2026/2027 season and getting a glimpse at Chew Entertainment’s Night of Inspiration this December, which Rejoice Networks is proud to partner on.

Mike and I had lunch at Carmine’s beforehand, then fellowshipped at the reception with Vivian Chew, Shawn Gibbs, Meta Washington, and many others. Amtrak up and back in one day. Grateful for the partnership and the people. More to come…

🌟 𝘿𝙊𝙉’𝙏 𝙒𝘼𝙄𝙏 𝙏𝙄𝙇’ 𝙈𝙄𝘿𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏! 🌟 | Last night, I had the pleasure of being invited to witness the brilliant production of @midnight, starring the incredibly talented @todrickhall! 🎭✨
What a powerful, thought-provoking, and artistically rich experience! This production masterfully explored the complexities of racism, slavery, social hierarchy, status, and the nuances of biracial relationships and identity. A compelling reminder of how history, culture, and the human experience continue to intersect in ways that challenge us, move us, and invite deeper reflection.
And the MUSIC! 🎶🔥 Pure vocal excellence from beginning to end! Todrick, Ayana, Sidney, and 𝙆𝙊𝙇𝘽𝙄 delivered extraordinary vocal acrobatics that were nothing short of phenomenal. The harmonies, the power, the precision, the artistry—VOCAL MAGIC! 👏🏾🎤
BRAVO to @todrickhall85 @ayanaunrestrained @kolbijordan @sidneydupont the entire cast and creative team for bringing such an important narrative to life with brilliance, courage, creativity, and undeniable talent. A production that entertains, enlightens, and leaves you with something to think about long after the curtain falls. ❤️‍🔥 | Thank you to my Black Broadway Godmother aka Mom @iamirenegandy for always giving me a seat at the table to be amongst greatness and to serve with excellence.
This is what happens when powerful storytelling meets exceptional artistry! 🎭✨
