✨WAAPA Opera Gala 2026✨

Last Thursday evening students and staff from the Classical Performance department brought some operatic magic to the magnificent surrounds of the Government House Ballroom! 🎭✨

From the Baroque brilliance of Handel and the timeless genius of Mozart to the romance of Puccini, the wit of Gilbert & Sullivan, and the musical theatre magic of Sondheim, WAAPA’s graduating Classical Voice students of 2026 brought a spectacular treasure-trove of music, storytelling and theatrical charm to the stage.

Highlights included Endless Pleasure, Endless Love (Handel), Bei Männern (Mozart), The Barcarolle (Offenbach), The Laughing Song (Strauss), Bayan Ko (Constancio De Guzman) and the moving finale, No One Is Alone (Sondheim).

With heartfelt thanks to our creatives:
🎹 Musical Director & Pianist: Adrian Soares
🎭 Director & MC: *Emma Matthews AM
🎶 Performed by: WAAPA Classical Voice Students — Graduating Class of 2026 ♥️

Bravi tutti! 🥂🎶
