83rd Governor of Georgia

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We had a wonderful evening with our #GAHBA members to support @govkemp, a former home builder himself. Thank you to @smithdouglashomes and the Home Builders Association of Georgia for hosting and bringing together builders and vendors from our industry!

Had the opportunity to deliver and install Governor Kemp’s flags in the media room of his campaign headquarters today. I would hang out with this guy even if he wasn’t the governor. The Braves stadium (Truist Park) was across the street, so I took the “We the People” to the streets to support our team and city during the poetic justice of this World Series! The hat and the shirt were intentional as I didn’t dress to impress...I dressed to represent🦾🇺🇸🦾

Tiffany's habeas hearing has been postponed due to legal issues that arose that thankfully her brilliant attorney, Susan P. Coppedge, was able to identify. We anticipate her new hearing to be held on December 3rd.

Tiffany was truly disappointed. However, she is still in good spirits and you are a big part of her joy. We wanted to share with you a photo of Tiffany with our team last March as we embarked on our survivor justice campaign and created our short film, Lack of Love, about Tiffany's life.

"I'm so disappointed that the hearing is put off until December, but it's alright. I know it's not our fault. I am still so happy to have such supportive people and family on my team that is willing to fight to the end for me it feels amazing," shares Tiffany in an email from jail.

It's really hard (trust us, lots of frustrated tears this weekend!) when you feel so close and something out of your control happens. Telling Tiffany hurt. We are tired of Tiffany having to deal with daily stresses of jail. Did you know, for example, sometimes we wait days to talk to Tiffany and then the jail system just doesn't work. She's just sitting in there alone wondering where we are. She also has to pay for every email and phone call. So, part of our survivor funds go toward supporting her financially so she can stay in touch with those who love her. This is freedom so long overdue but we are getting closer!

So, here is what is next:

- Let's keep pushing for more signatures! Let's get to 50K.

- Keep showing Tiffany's film in virtual and live gatherings.

- Support survivors like Tiffany who deserve to be free.

Let's keep going for Tiffany and show her some love by sharing her petition online today! #linksinbio

Hey y’all!
I love Atlanta and everyone in it! I have so much appreciation for everyone that does their part to making our city a great place to live, thank you ALL!!!

I was kindly introduced by @eaca1980 | @eaca.transportation | @atlantabike to New York Magazine named TRANSIT JUSTICE ORG

I was treated fairly and with respect as I was interviewed. I am a firm believer in being all about my business and solely focused to refine my work, and if it is not about work I have limited time. With this opportunity however, it was something special. I did not want to miss the chance to voice my story, it touched home. I was able to virtually sit down and speak with Alyssa Alvarez and another TC staff member and I dove into my personal life a bit. The topic is PUBLIC TRANSIT. For many of us it’s a way of life. For others it’s a means of getting from point A to point B when there is a big event in the city or it’s a convenient way to head to the airport. Regardless of your reasons, it is something that impacts us all.

WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER

Please join me by reading my story, and see how I’ve been impacted by public transportation.
Atlanta is an amazing City and we can continue to make it better.

Georgia's Governor Brian Kemp takes on Stacey Abrams over the Atlanta Braves win. @SharonReedLive says, "Keep Stacey Abrams' name out your mouth." @ItsMikeHill says, "Stacey Abrams was not for the boycott."

With the upcoming Stone Mountain Memorial Association meeting on Monday October 25th, let us remember the statement given by past-Chairman Ray S. Smith III on November 13th, 2020. Smith imagined swift changes to take place at @stonemountainpark, changes that would consult the advice of experts, historians, and community members, and be inclusive, not exclusive to all Georgians. Little to no progress has taken place at the park since Smith gave this statement. As of today, the nine-story Confederate carving is still maintained, Confederate flags still fly at the base of the Walk-up trail, Confederate memorabilia is still sold on Park grounds, and streets and land-features are still named after Confederate and Ku Klux Klan historical figures. It is time for Smith and other members of SMMA to keep their promises and move toward a more just and equitable Stone Mountain Park- one that meets the needs and challenges of ALL Georgians in the 21st century.

My oil painting “Tranquil Paradise” was accepted to hang at the Georgia State Capital for the next 16 months. I was chosen from an open call through the Georgia Council for the Arts to represent my Middle Ga. district. What an honor to represent Houston and Bibb counties.
