Our Gowanus studio is taking shape at 340 Nevins Street.

An open shell. A plan for what the room will become. Then the work of building it.

A Pilates practice grows the same way: breath by breath, repetition by repetition. Over time, the effort shows in how you move.

Quiet Room. Serious Practice.

Follow @imxpilates.gowanus for updates as we build.

Alright so it seems like you all like seeing updates on the Esplanade, so here's your next installment. On the Westmark side, plantings and kids area ready to go. The railing is partly installed and the stone work is just about there. The light posts which I forgot all about have been installed. (I'm not a big fan of the look, but no one asked me!)
On the opposite side of the canal, under Nevins Landing, a lot of progress has been made. The cement structure is mostly complete. It has a slight grade since Carroll Street is lower than Union Street. What I think will be planters are ready, and the cladding(?) of the building is getting there. A few new pieces of art have sprouted up, too!
Slow and steady progress on both sides, but I think it's pretty safe to say that by spring we will be able to walk along both sides.

If anyone has any questions, ask them in the comments.

Three places we’ll probably send you after your Gowanus Wharf tour:

☕ @roothillcafe for coffee + breakfast
🌮 @siempre_brooklyn for tacos (and a very well-timed happy hour)
🎤 @insabrooklyn for dinner — and karaoke if the tour runs late enough

After you’ve seen the apartment, rooftop pools, gyms, basketball court and the rest of the campus, consider this the unofficial second half of the tour.

Comment CAMPUS and we’ll send you the link to book a private tour.

In New York, a little extra space goes a long way. This one has a lot of it.

A two-bedroom penthouse with a full-size kitchen, natural light for days, and a private L-shaped terrace with views across Brooklyn and Manhattan. And downstairs, the rest of Douglass Port and @gowanuswharf is yours to make use of, too.

Comment PENTHOUSE and we’ll send you the link to book a private tour.

🔁 Throwback to Summer 2026
@freisa_fordham is proud to have collaborated with the LAI NY Chapter to bring this program to life.

The tour of Gowanus and 420 Carroll Street provided a unique opportunity for industry professionals to hear directly from the planners and developers driving one of New York City's most transformative redevelopment efforts.

Thank you to our speakers and partners for sharing their expertise and perspectives. It was a fantastic event and a great example of the value that thoughtful collaboration and knowledge exchange bring to the real estate community! @gowanuswharf

We had a wonderful day with our clients @CharneyCompanies and #Tavros, celebrating the groundbreaking of 175 Third Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn!

The project is the fifth development and newest addition to the Gowanus Wharf Campus and will bring 1,000 apartments to the area.

We can’t wait to watch the building rise, with its beautiful design by @big_builds and @dencityworks. We’re also looking forward to enjoying the 28,000-square-foot public waterfront esplanade designed by @fieldoperations.

$6,450/month in Gowanus, but hear us out..

The two-bedroom is only part of it. At Nevins Landing, you’re also connected to the larger @gowanuswharf campus, which means multiple fitness spaces, lounges to work or hang out from, resident programming and fitness classes across the community.

Basically, your apartment might be in Nevins, but you don’t have to spend all your time in one building.

Want to see it for yourself? Comment “TOUR” and we’ll send you the link.

If Gowanus wasn’t already on your radar, maybe it should be. 👀

In just the past year, the Carroll Street Bridge reopened, new local businesses like @liarliarbk and @shaniasmaxbet are settling right in, new homes are taking shape, and public spaces along the canal continue to expand.

And through all that change, neighborhood staples and the local arts community are still doing their thing — including @artsgowanus Open Studios, returning for its 30th year this October.

Comment “GOWANUS” and we’ll send you a link to book a private tour of Gowanus Wharf.
