#transformationtuesday

From the first week of my cut to stepping on stage. ✨

26 weeks of hard work with dialed in nutrition, added cardio and pushing through workouts.

It took time, patience, trusting in the process and determination.

It’s fun to see the transformation and I already can’t wait to do it again.

Now for making some gains, seeing growth and even bigger changes for next time 💪🏼

My Z Walk….

This is the part of the competition where you just have fun and show off all of your hard work!!

I originally had a T Walk so I had to adjust things a bit and with the help of my incredibly talented sister @peeping_pinup_cosplay and my sweet daughter Bella I love how it turned out!

I’m still in shock over how amazing this past weekend was, so proud of what I brought to the stage and I truly had the best time at the @nanbf_midwest_musclefest ✨

Just one more day to go 💪🏼

I had my final workouts today and felt so strong thanks to some good carbs this week.

I’m a basket of emotions heading into this competition. Ten years of focused work on this sport that I absolutely fell in love with thanks to a hobby I have enjoyed since I was 15.

No matter the outcome I am thrilled with the physique I will bring to the @nanbf_midwest_musclefest stage on Saturday. Stephanie 2022 blows Stephanie 2018 out of the water! Not only with my physique but also with my mental state, it’s been a LOT of hard work inside the gym but also outside of the gym finding my true self and I absolutely freaking LOVE her!

Thanks for all of the love and support, I sincerely appreciate it and feel it!💜

Take the pictures, reflect on your progress and be damn PROUD of the results of your hard ass work!

When I see comparison photos from my last prep it honestly blows my mind 🤯

In the off season I’ve got a booty but when I cut down for competition it disappears because it is mostly fat. I worked hard when I could these past four years to build the muscle in my booty and the hard work certainly paid off, what an improvement!

There were no magical tricks it took consistent lifting with the same exercises, fueling my body with plenty of food and staying as consistent as I could. During those four years I had months of off time due to surgery and illness but still managed to build up a decent amount of more muscle.

Not only did I add muscle to my glutes but everywhere else as well and it just makes my heart so damn happy to see the results of continuing to do something I truly love through so many downs and ups.

Life has been a roller coaster but weight lifting and the gym have been my constant through it all and for that I am grateful.

Almost there, 11 days to go!!! 💪🏼

17 days to go! 💪🏼

I am at that place in prep where you are dragging ass but seeing changes nearly daily pushes you and inspires you to see where you can end up.

I love to challenge myself and this is the ultimate challenge for me physically and mentally. I am proud of what I have accomplished and am ready to float through the rest of this prep and have a blast on stage! ✨

8 weeks to go 💪🏼

This process never ceases to amaze me. It’s incredible the changes that occur with a calculated plan, a lot of hard ass work and tons of patience.

These next eight weeks will seriously push my body and my mind but I’m ready for it.

It has been 10+ years since I started my bodybuilding journey, stepping on stage for the first time nine years ago. In a way it gets easier because I’ve put on needed size over the years, knowing the process better helps in every way and I’ve worked just as hard on my mind as my body.

The mental strain is incredibly rough some days. What has worked best for me has been therapy, helping me to better handle getting through the really hard days and truly helping me know that I am always enough, no matter what.

The changes from 15 weeks out to 8 weeks out are crazy. Take pictures on your journey, you can never have too many and it helps you to see for yourself the progress you are making. We live in our bodies every day and sometimes it’s hard to really see the changes you have made, you see the same you each day.

Shout out to Bella and Dustin for supporting me day in and day out with tiny bites of your food I might want a taste of and for your constant encouragement. You live this with me daily and I know I’m not the easiest on some days, I am so grateful for you 💜

I’m hungry and tired most days but it’s all part of the process. Here’s to the next eight weeks, kicking ass and being grateful I am able to do this sport!

Three years ago today I stepped back on stage as a figure competitor and walked away with 1st place in the tall division, barely missing earning my pro card in the overall where I placed 2nd.

It was such an amazing day surrounded by my family and friends. My prep went well and I brought the best me to the stage that day. I will forever remember the feelings I felt that day of pride, pure joy, determination and gratefulness. It was an incredible prep that led up to a day I will never forget.

The sport of bodybuilding is a tough one but the true camaraderie and support amongst the athletes is truly amazing. I have made lifelong friends in this sport, we understand each other’s “crazy” and the drive to be our best selves.

My goals to compete in 2020 and 2021 had been ended due to health issues. I have continued to train through major life changes and truly challenging health situations. Transverse myelitis has forever changed some of the ways I can lift but with help and guidance I’ve found my way through it.

I love the smiling woman in these photos and I am damn proud of her but even then she hadn’t found her true self. Working to be who you truly are can be scary and so hard but it’s worth all of the struggles. I can’t wait to compete again, loving myself every step of the way 💗
