𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠… 🤍
Almost 2 years ago, I wasn't even sure I'd ever dance on pointe again after my ankle ligament surgery. I fought my way back, only to injure the same ankle again while filming my audition variation—this time, my tendon. Surgery wasn't an option, so I had to stop dancing again for 3 months. Then came a race against time: only 6 weeks to prepare for this summer intensive.
With the incredible support of my whole team, I did everything I could to come back physically and mentally. I knew I wasn't 100% ready, and the first days here were overwhelming: a new country, an intensive schedule after months away from dance, another language, jet lag... and I got sick. But day by day, things got easier.

After years of difficult experiences, I had almost started believing that kindness and excellence couldn't coexist in the dance world. These past 4 weeks proved me wrong and became one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. ✨

I am endlessly grateful to every teacher who reminded me that excellence never has to come at the expense of kindness. Thank you for showing me that it is possible to be demanding while also being supportive. Thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me rebuild some confidence. I know there is still work to do, but you reminded me why I love this art so much.

Thank you to everyone I met here, and especially to my classmates. Thank you for your kindness, your help when I didn’t understand everything, and for showing me that there are places where dancers can support each other and lift each other up, even in such a competitive environment. You reminded me why I fell in love with dance in the first place.

In just 4 weeks, I've learned so much—not only as a dancer, but also as a person. I leave with unforgettable memories, endless gratitude, and friends I'll never forget. You already mean so much to me, and I miss you more than you know 🤍

And finally, thank you to my family for helping me make this experience possible.
