and just like that there’s only one more year left…

Junior year was the craziest adventure. Some of the best moments of my career happened this year. Some memorable firsts happened- the more positive one, my first home run, and something not as positive, my first sprained ankle. There were hot streaks and a slump, good games and bad ones too. But I think everything happened this year for a reason, and that was for me to grow as not only as a player but also as a person. Through it all I regained my love of the sport, and I’m eternally grateful for that.
While this didn’t end the way we wanted, this team was still something so special. From the freshmen who stepped up, to the seniors enjoying one final ride, I will never forget any of you and will always be grateful for your impact on my life. Thank you for the best junior year. This team will always be a family and nothing could ever change that. ❤️💛
To the seniors, this is the hardest goodbye. This is the end of an era that lasted from third grade to high school. I never thought the Wilkes Barre Girls Softball League Champs would eventually be district champs. However, we learned so much more than a sport over all these years. We also learned so many lessons to carry into the real world. Zoe, Grace, and Bella, thank you for everything and good luck with anything you set your minds to. I know you all are going to go far. ❤️
