I love this place, and I love these people. 🖤

I started my workout journey here back in November, and I don’t regret a second of it. The hardest part is showing up but honestly, I show up because of these coaches and my friends. They make it worth it every time.

Four days ago, we crossed the finish line.

And honestly, I’m still trying to find the words to process what has been one of the most life-changing, emotional, and powerful experiences of my life.

Getting to run across South Dakota alongside my dad is something I’ll never take for granted. And to the other runners and volunteers — thank you for making these four days so incredibly meaningful.

There were moments throughout this journey when I almost felt like I needed to hide my story again. Opening up about the parts of my life I kept hidden for so long is scary. There were a lot of tears and a lot of emotions, and I think part of this journey was finally allowing myself to release some of what I had held onto for so long.

But every message, conversation, and story shared reminded me why I chose to be vulnerable in the first place.

Together, we raised $405,981 for mental health resources across South Dakota. But the impact goes so much deeper than a dollar amount. It’s the conversations, the stories, spreading hope, and reminding people that they are not alone.

The 437 Project has helped me rediscover my voice, my purpose, and a reason to keep using both. It has given me something I never thought I would find again: the opportunity to turn my pain and struggles into purpose.

If you would have asked me a year ago how I was doing, I probably would have told you I was just surviving. Today, I can honestly say I feel like I’m living again. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

The 437 Project may be over for this year, but this isn’t the end of the journey. If anything, it feels like just the beginning of sharing my story.

So, thank you.

Thank you for listening, encouraging me, believing in me, sharing your stories, and reminding me that my story can help someone else. I thank God every day for keeping me here and giving me the chance to experience this life.

And to everyone who reminded me along the way:

I’m beyond proud of this team. Some of these girls had never stepped into a gym before this season, and watching them grow in confidence, strength, and grit has been so fulfilling. It’s not just about skills or scores — it’s about resilience, courage, and believing you’re capable of more than you thought.

Not only did we have a great group of girls this year but we had an even more amazing assistant coach. I am so grateful to coach this sport alongside Grace, a literal God-sent (Thanks JC🙏🏽🤍). We are connected in so many ways and I wouldn't have made it through this year without her. IYKYK

To every athlete I’ve coached, every girl I’ve met along the way — you’ve left a mark on my heart. This year reminded me why gymnastics is so much more than a sport. It’s a journey, and I’m so grateful to be part of it. 🖤🧡
