Last week, 6 of our officers got to attend the Society of American Foresters National Convention in Tacoma, WA!

While at the conference we attended discussions, tabled, and networked with companies. We also competed in student quiz bowl!

We were in the final 4 out of 33 teams for quiz bowl!
Additionally we were named #1 Student Chapter in the Nation!

Our officers had a great time and were honored to represent MSU and our student chapter at the national level!

We had such a fun and busy summer, but we are so glad to be back!

This summer, some of our officers interned at Georgia-Pacific, Green Bay Packaging, Resource Management Services, and Mississippi Forestry Commission. We also had a 3 officers go through the Summer Field Program, as well as TA the summer program and do research. We are so proud of our officers!

We look forward to seeing everyone at our first meeting on September 8th with Weyerhaeuser!
