Don’t always remember every stop but I can usually remember the photo I took there . Here’s a few pics from my road trip to SD (Part 1)

August wrapped and so did a summer of contradictions—fitness by day, concerts by night. A late-night talk with a friend reminded me it’s not about getting it perfect, just staying open to it all. Be more curious and less judgmental.

August crept up fast — and with summer starting to wind down, I’ve just been thinking about what this season’s really been about.

Not big moments or perfect plans… but clarity. Slowing down, being present, and soaking up time with the people who bring peace, laughter, and support. Friends, family — I’m thankful for every conversation, every trip, every moment that helped me feel a little more like myself.

I’ve learned that growth doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s just showing up with a full heart, letting go of what you can’t control, and appreciating what’s right in front of you.

Still figuring things out, but heading into this next chapter feeling lighter, more focused, and deeply thankful.

Here’s to the little things — and the people who make them matter. #austin #choctaw #fishing #4runner #familytime #wakesurfer #tulsa #athleticclub #bartonsprings #golf #cherokeegolfcourse
