JMU Softball camp!! This was my 3rd time going to one of these skills camps, and I have a better experience each time I go. I learned more about the mental and physical parts of this sport, and I will take it along with my softball journey! Another big win!🔥 We took down Colgan 4-2 for our first Regional Playoff win in program history! 🥎 Went 2-3, home run, single, 2 RB’sI, 1 Run🔥 Colgan is a great team so this is huge for us. 🥎 Onto the Regional Semi-Finals on Tuesday! ❤️

Over 20 years I have been around the game of softball and I have seen the sport from many perspectives. The last 4 years at JU have left me with so much joy. If you had asked me if I was going to coach when I was playing in college I always said “with the right people I could”. @jax_coache and the many others I have had the pleasure of working with has taught me different perspectives, growth, hard work and being around the right people MATTERS. When you get to work with some of your closest friends teaching the greatest game on earth while buying into the growth of young women it’s never a job.
I am not sure what is to come for the future as “Coach B” but for now I will put the glove and stopwatch on the shelf and grab my stethoscope🩺 for now at least…
I can not express how thankful I am to Erica and JU for letting me live out the dream 🤟🏽🤍🥎
