Putting this together made me realize just how much running makes me happy 🥹 cheesing so hard in almost every photo, except the last slide where I’m super duper shy at my very first run club lol

So thankful for the sport, for the community, for the friends I made through this silly little thing we do together 🙏

This summer of running is gonna be superb 😎

First marathon in the books!
Amazing experience during the Austin Marathon this past February. Could not have done it without the support of my family, friends, and the @endorphinsrunning running community!

📸: @longislandninja thanks for the pictures!

Last month I completed my first half marathon in 1:37:38 !! (7:27 pace per mile) Now it’s time to train so I can go faster, longer, harder 💨

So many emotions processing the finish of my SECOND marathon @austinmarathon (10 weeks after the first 😮‍💨). With a 13 minute PR (3:40)I’m over the moon. I feel nothing but gratitude. Every single person that I’ve met along this journey has changed me for the better. I’ve been inspired, challenged, pushed and most importantly, believed in. I couldn’t have done without each and every one of you. And also, I’m so DAMN proud of all of YOU. 😭👏🏽

The marathon was hard but I truly felt prepared and strong. You never know what you’ll be able to give on the day. And despite 2 injuries and recovering from a bad cold and norovirus on the final weeks, it still was a dream. I pushed myself and I’ll forever be grateful for the encouragement from @mckay_md3 early in the race. He reminded me that my plan was a guide but not the Bible and encouraged me to go for it if I felt good. It took so much courage on my part to risk failure 😭. Shout out to my legs for carrying me through. Shout out to the hilly miles with @5run2_atx that prepared me. And shout out to @endorphinsrunning at mile 24 and my family at mile 25. I needed that boost to get me to the end when I was feeling it.

Nothing but gratitude!! ❤️❤️❤️ #austinmarathon
