Impermanence - The concept of Time

Some days Time feels heavy, like a clock that ticks too loudly, each tick causing reverberations in your ears, and the weight of waiting makes your heart pump faster.
Other days it feels gentle, like sand flowing through an hourglass.

Some days, you feel time slipping through your fingers just as the sunset is close to dawn in summer.
Some days, Time becomes a tree, an extension of the roots, and as it moves, your growth becomes evident.
On other days, growth is stunted.

Time is a teacher.
It teaches us that nothing stays the same forever. Neither day nor night, storms or stillness, winter or summer, and that is the beauty of time.
With every season comes its blessings. Blessings in the scorching sun, and lessons in the pouring rain.
With the death of leaves comes giant flowers in autumn.

In moments as the present one, it’s about how gracefully we indulge ourselves in its entirety, and embrace the transformation that comes with the change of seasons.

@lotion.mag’s ISSUE #1 Launch was soooo fun! When I moved to Toronto, their parties were one of the first I attended. Apart from the ridiculously good music, I noticed how a lot of the people I met were so kind and creative and that first party really did give me hope on my future here because all I want is to build creative community!

To see their community show up and show out for them last week Thursday was so heartwarming! I met some of the same people I saw a few months ago and their lights were just as bright 🤎. The panel discussion on navigating life as a creative was also very insightful and just like that first event, made me feel less alone 🤎🤎🤎
