🟠🟠🚝CHOOSE LIFE | CHOOSE SOLO TRAVEL | CHOOSE MOVEMENT

On paper my last 18 months sounds mega, in reality they have been some of my hardest months mentally.

I was prescribed Sertraline (a SSRI) in October 2024 just before my 21st. They took their time to kick in but they have personally helped me so much with my mental health.

Reflecting now this past year has been so good and I’m so lucky to have been able to travel and meet so many amazing people and had some of the best and most open conversations about mental health.

It is good to be back home and back to reality as for me solo traveling has changed my perspective on life indefinitely.

I am not a GP or therapist I just want to let others who may be struggling know that life will get better and that sunshine can follow thunder.

Thank you for all the support and messages recently you guys are all class 🧡. (Honourable mention to @graceehaughton and her 21st what a night hope you’re tearing it up in Australia 🇦🇺). 🟠🟠🚝

🟠🟠🚝CHOOSE LIFE | CHOOSE SOLO TRAVEL | CHOOSE MOVEMENT

People ask why I chose to do it on my own.

It started with pints in Dublin, surrounded by good people, thinking everything was calm.
But after uni, I knew something wasn’t quite right.

So I left.

Not just for new places or new faces,
but to process things in my own way.

To see different cultures,
to meet new people, to experience things I wouldn’t have otherwise.

You don’t just find moments out here, you find parts of yourself you didn’t realise were there.

Moments start to make sense again.
I’m still figuring it out every day,
but choosing to go was the best decision I’ve made.

Choose solo travel. 🟠🟠🚝

50km Ultra

After a brilliant year of ticking off pretty much every fitness related goal I had, this was the one thing left to tick off.

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to do, my dad and sister getting to join in makes the sore legs this morning all the more bearable😆

Here’s to chasing down some big goals in 2026❤️
