Feeling incredibly proud and grateful to serve as President of the Lincoln County Apple Festival Board. ❤️🍎 This festival is about so much more than one weekend — it’s about community, tradition, and the amazing people who come together to make it all possible. Seeing our town come alive year after year is something truly special, and I’m honored to play a part in it. Lincoln County, you make me proud! Until next year! ✨ It is and will always be my most favorite day!

I had the best time at the 48th annual Lincoln County Apple Queen Pageant!🍎❤️

All of the girls shined onstage! I love being able to support my sister queens and cheer on the incredible contestants. When I competed in this pageant last year, I had the honor of winning Miss Congeniality!! This year, I got to attend as a visiting queen and crown the next Miss Congeniality! That title means everything to me, and it’s something I work to live up to every day! Congratulations to your new Miss Congeniality, Ayleen Valle-Ortega!!✨💖

AND OF COURSE a huge congratulations to your new Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen, Jaydn Allman!! I love you so much and I’m so excited to reign with you!🍎👑

What a sweet season this has been. 🍎👑

Competing for Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen has been such an incredible blessing, and I couldn’t have done it without so many amazing people beside me.

I’m so honored to have received the Essay Award along with a scholarship. It means so much to have my heart, writing, and passion recognized in such a special way.

Congratulations to our new Jadyn Allman! You are so deserving of this title, and I know you will represent Lincoln County with grace, kindness, and excellence. I can’t wait to watch all that you accomplish this year!

Congratulations to the new Miss Congeniality Ayleen! You deserve this and everything more! There’s nobody better for this role! I love you!🩵

Thank you to every business, family, and friend who purchased an ad, supported me, voted, prayed, and encouraged me throughout this journey. Your kindness means more than you know.

A huge thank you to the entire Apple Queen Committee for the countless hours you pour into making this program so special. Cheryl, Megan, Dana, Erica, and Winter—thank you for your love, encouragement, and for spoiling us with so many thoughtful goodies all summer long. You made this experience one I’ll never forget.

Thank you to Tim Goates for capturing such beautiful memories through your photography, to Bronzed by Bailee for making me feel confident with the perfect spray tan, and to Styled by Madi for making me feel beautiful with my hair and makeup. I’m so grateful for each of you!

Most importantly, thank You, God. Your timing is always perfect and on time! I’m so grateful God gave me the opportunity to share my platform, ROOTED. Above all, being able to encourage others to grow in faith, serve with purpose, and inspire a love for reading has been the greatest honor. I know this is only the beginning of what God has planned, and I can’t wait to continue serving Lincoln County.

This chapter may be over, but ROOTED is only getting started. ❤️🌱🍎

Words cannot express the gratitude I have felt the last 24 hours. Last night I was crowned as Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen. This title did not come without hard work, challenges, and dedication. Let this be your sign to not give up because sometimes things are worth the wait. I started my journey through pageantry my junior year of high school. I fell in love with it because of how much love I have for performing on a stage, committing to leadership roles, and its powerful rush for femininity. However, despite my love for it, I had never won a title before. This did not stop me from continuing to peruse something I love. Here I am years later with a DREAM role and I couldn’t feel more blessed. Sometimes good things take time. A few weeks ago my pastor said something that struck me. “Sometimes things just don’t make a lot of sense.” in that moment I realized I never held a title prior, not because I wasn’t capable but because I had not become the version of myself that I needed to be to hold a title. & let me tell you… the wait was 100% worth it. I have grown in numerous ways and I am so GLAD this version of Jadyn gets to be the Apple Queen. Thank you to ALL the wonderful contestants who stood beside me, to Kara and Calla who were by me EVERY step of the way. thank you to a LOVELY Apple Queen committee, which I cannot wait to spend time with during my reign, you all do so much for us. thank you to my family, especially my mom & gram for always making sure my outfits were up to their standard, thank you to my apprentice (aka my cousin) pickle, I love you so much I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you Garrison for listening to me whenever I needed and your endless support. Jocelyn, thank you so much for your advice, support, and generosity towards me. I know I would not be where I am without your help. You are an AMAZING Apple Queen and I am so thrilled we can be Forever Apple Queens together. And thank you to the 5 wonderful judges who saw something in me. I cannot wait to see what this year has to offer and I KNOW Lincoln County… I will not let you down. ~ Your 2026 Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen. 👑❤️

What an AMAZING night! Tonight I attended the annual Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen pageant and WOW was it a good one. The competition was outstanding! I enjoyed spending time with my sister queens and meeting our North Carolina’s Teen!

Nights like these reminds me on why I truly love being a title holder. This sisterhood has provided me with lifelong connections and memories. Congratulations to the new Apple queen @lincolnco_applequeen ! I hope your year of service brings you everything you wish and strive for🍎✨

Jocelyn, you were an amazing queen. The love you show others both with and without the crown is something I will always strive for. Although this chapter of yours has closed, you still have an infinite number of chapters to open. I am so proud of you❤️

What a blessing!

Serving as Lincoln County’s 47th Apple Queen has been nothing short of a dream come true! Since I was a little girl, this is a goal that I have strived for and it’s crazy to think that this achievement I worked so hard for is going to be a memory after today. Even thought I’m passing on my crown tonight, a piece of me will always be the Apple Queen! I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to give back to the community that has poured so much love into both me and my family! I love you with all my heart Lincoln County and I truly can’t thank you enough for making me feel so loved this year! Thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey, I can’t wait for tonight!

✨ It’s officially PAGEANT DAY! ✨

Today, I have the honor of sharing my platform, ROOTED—a mission that is so much bigger than myself.

ROOTED is centered on faith, literacy, leadership, and service. My vision is to create reading and learning opportunities for children, plant Little Free Libraries throughout Lincoln County, and create worship opportunities where families can grow together outside of a traditional Sunday service through worship, testimonies, and community.

By age 5, a child’s brain has reached about 90% of its adult development, making those early years so important for developing a love of learning and building a strong foundation for life.

Being named Lincoln County Apple Queen would provide an incredible platform to help turn this vision into reality, but regardless of tonight’s outcome, I am committed to continuing this mission because I truly believe God has placed it on my heart.

I am so grateful to the entire Apple Queen Committee for making this experience so special and for the countless hours you’ve poured into each of us. I’m also incredibly thankful for the friendships I’ve gained along the way. This journey has already been such a blessing.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me, supported me, and encouraged me. I’m excited to see what God has in store tonight. 🌱❤️
