Flux Pt.2, an experimental short film by Christopher Jacobs (@redkebab ), is coming soon to a YouTube link near you!

The short film is a compilation of footage captured from old projects from my university days (2014) all the way to 2022 which follows the sentiment “we’ve killed the rabbit and have gone too far down the rabbit hole”.

A huge and eternally thank you to everybody who helped out on the project 🙏

I wish I did a proper credits sequence for this (apologies to everyone involved but rest assured proper credits are being allocated) and I also wanted to refine the edit more however I’ve decided to release this now and do another reedit further down the line, with a potential of part 3. “Where’s part 1?” You may ask. Well, pt.1 is so visionary we’re waiting for the technology to catch up 😂 that or y’know, Star Wars started with episode 4, we’ll make a proper pt.1 eventually 💯

The premier for @goodgrief_short turned out to be a very poignant and moving evening indeed.

Going into it I wasn't sure how I felt about watching my work on screen in a room full of people, but the response to the piece was quite overwhelming and I felt so glad we had shared it once I saw how much it meant to so many people.

I'm so proud of @myeyeswide for starting the important conversations we had that night and will continue to have. Everyone I spoke to after the screening had reflected on their experiences with grief and how they have dealt with the grief of those around them. The Q&A gave people the space to share their own stories and to address what many of us keep pent up inside.

The insight from Jason from @standrewshospicegrimsby
was invaluable and really helped people to know that everyone's experiences are valid and heard.

Listening is so important and the fact that this piece reminded us all to do so makes it one of the most significant projects i've had the privilege to be involved with.

I hope everyone that shared or quietly reflected that night is doing okay and if you need to talk then don't hesitate to reach out again 🤍
