Seeing each and everyone one pour every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears in their sport is the true embodiment of what it means to be a #Gaucho

Proud is an understatement! Three AA Degrees from Moorpark College AND worked full time as a teachers assistant. This kid has really grounded it out and got results. We love you Liz and can’t wait to watch you graduate again from Chico State with your Teaching Credential! Your future is SO bright!!!👩🏻‍🏫👩🏻‍🎓📚🙌🏻🎉🔥

Lord knows I am always proud of my kids….but man, tonight I realized wholeheartedly just what a baller my baby girl # 3 is. Playing at a D1 level is no easy feat and I have always been so proud of her grind and tonight deemed “Gaucho Grit”. Tonight however, it hit me over the head how much quiet strength she possesses….the athletic talent coupled with academic excellence that she was ilked with tonight, placed my daughter in a category I truly never fully digested until now. All of the recipients this evening were extraordinary examples of steadfast will, determination, pursuant of excellence at every level…and my daughter was one of them. I have always known she would do great things, but tonight just made me beam at all you have become my GingerCat. You are everything and then some and I love you so very much🙏🏼❤️🙌🏻🥎🏆

Dear Softball

Today marked the end of a 19 year chapter that I am so grateful to you for. From the early days of teeball at West Valley, to summer All Star HEAT, to travel ball, high school, and now college. You have given my girl the best friends, greatest memories, hardest challenges and most incredible moments that have taught her nearly everything. You gave her grit, tenacity, joy, and competition…in short- you’ve smacked her down and built her back up. She is strong because of you, she built her path, her resilience and her friendships because of you. She has had challenging and amazing mentors along the way, but out of it all…..it made her, HER. You have been a monumental part of her life, and she has learned a million life lessons holding that ball in her hand. It started and ended with her dad as her coach and biggest fan. I’m so grateful for today and although u Cho’s didn’t win it, we are so proud of your tenacity as a team. We love you Gracie Goose, always our favorite Cho💛💙🥎#ucsbgauchos #d1softball

Today we celebrated a beautiful Easter…..although our family was scattered, I am grateful for what we did have. All that matters is our babies are thriving, in their happy places and doing life as they should. Happy Easter to all, God is Good…ALL the time🙏🏼❤️🌈🌻✝️
