usually, is out now!! this is such a special moment!! i’ve been writing songs since i was a little girl but have routinely talked myself out of releasing my creations. i always managed to get in my own way!! this small step feels like a major leap towards the artist I am meant to be (and have always been deep down)!!!! hoping you get outside today and skip around and listen💓💓🥹🥹 and of course a special shout out to my amazing dad, David Brian Smith, who helped make this with me!! he is my favorite artist of all!! LOVE YOU STREAM USUALLY,

10 YEARS IN NYC!!!! I WILL NEVER LEAVE!!!!

i love my city, i love my friends, i love my life. i moved to nyc at 17 years old!! i was always set on living here, and now i have been for 10 whole years.

i moved to new york to go to school, and i actually didn’t get in to some of the dance programs i had hoped for, but moved here anyway. i figured i’d find what was right for me, and the crazy, fucked up thing is: i did!!!!! it’s been new york or nowhere for me since the very beginning.

i got my degree, i met the love of my life, & i am still pursuing by dream of being a performer and have met and worked with so many incredible people.

i’ve put together a bunch of collages (singlehandedly bringing pic stitches back) to take a moment to be thankful for all the love i have in this city.

HERE’S TO TEN (thousand) MORE YEARS!!!!

first off, a little commotion for all the hair colors & styles i’ve had over the decade 🙂‍↕️

graduated from a school that doesn’t exist anymore (rip MMC) but had a pretty good time lol

i moved to new york to be a performer & for many many years, that meant being a professional dancer. and i was one :) and i still am! just not professionally (obvi) and not for anyone else. i got to work with absolute legends over the years, and i will always be grateful for and proud of my time dancing.

and now is a good a time as any to let you know that i’m pursuing my comedy career FR FR. i’ve been taking classes with UCB and having the time of my fuckin life. book me on your comedy shows xoxo

Watching Alexandro (Alex) Byrd step into his breakout role in Disney’s Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is one of those moments that fills our hearts. Alex was one of our original OG RISPA Kids during the Danny & Georgina’s years. We still remember the call from our dear friend Bill Stampfl telling us about a little boy at Kings Ridge Christian School who danced like Michael Jackson. Then came his first audition… and yes, he cried. But even through the tears, we knew there was something special about this kid. He grew up with us—from elementary school through high school. We weren’t just teaching kids to perform. We were building a community and trying to help raise kind people, future husbands, wives, parents, and citizens. Sometimes that meant tough love, but it was always love. One of the greatest gifts has been watching Alex keep us part of his journey all these years. We couldn’t be prouder of the talented young man he’s become. Congratulations, Alex. The world is finally getting to see what we saw in that little nine-year-old all those years ago. ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️. #descendants5wickedwonderland #descendants5 #dngretirementlife #rispakidsalum #rispakidsrock
