70 days later

this summer has been like no other. it has pushed me like nothing has before. my first year of drum corps was so amazing. there was nothing that would beat being in that first ensemble within the horn line, to the first time entering Lucas Oil Stadium. I have made countless memories and will never forget… wait… “is this a buy stop” or “are we in LP”. I will forever let the people around me lean on me and I will forever love the MCDCCG with all of my heart. I have loved all the support I have gotten and have enjoyed seeing everyone along the way. I will miss everyone so much and I will never regret each and every moment that I have been through this summer. but for now RTN ⭐️🐍

i’m the hugest fan of @bluestarsdbc
also shoutout to the people who sat behind us, you guys are the funniest people ever

after going to nightbeat, my whole perspective of band has changed. seeing all of the people in the stadium has made me realize how many people music can bring together, and it’s grisly a beautiful thing.

meeting the mcdc drum majors and being able to watch so many talented conductors has made me so much more dedicated to conducting. i really hope that one day ill be able to conduct for my high school and hopefully one of these amazing groups.

i am so grateful for the chance to travel and watch these amazing people do amazing things. thank you @dciphotos for being such a big part of my life!

ps; why were the colts larping the madison marching band 🤨 (the goats imo)

hi hi I’ve been trying to post but I’m getting there but here’s some pics from our free day at “The Island” (???) in pigeon forge and the following day where we had a 4th of July performance for the community! On da free day we got a Walmart stop and we ate yummy food, went on bumper cars/mirror maze/ lazer escape room and finished it off with some Ben and Jerry’s !!! the next day we had Taylor’s turnt up transition fiesta and we learned a bunch of transitions for different parts and then we got to watch some world famous clogging ,which was so dope, before we went on!!

This was more than just a short time

This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to make. My four year winter guard career is over, and while I hope to continue past this, I can’t guarantee anything. This activity has shaped me as a person. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the community that winter guard has provided me with. I will miss this forever and always.

I’m letting go of my last layer…

If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go…..

This show has been one of my favorite shows I’ve ever performed. It had taught me so much in skill and emotion throughout performing this season. I’m so grateful for another season with this amazing team and community. I couldn’t be happier with the way we ended it and the memories we made along the way. I can’t wait to see whats in store for next season!!
