1:59:51!!!! Oh my god I actually did it🥹

I never really talk about my running journey on here, but this one feels too special not to share.

This year has honestly been a rollercoaster. At the peak of marathon training, I injured my back and knee and suddenly couldn’t even run 3K without being in pain. My training completely fell apart and I ended up having to pull out of the marathon at the last minute.

Since then, I’ve slowly rebuilt everything. My running, my confidence and my belief that I could actually do this. I’ve been chasing the sub 2 for the longest time!! And yesterday I DID IT!!😭

7 minutes quicker than last year too. WHAT?!

I had the BEST day and I’m honestly so proud of myself. I’ve been on cloud 9 ever since and I don’t think I’m coming down anytime soon💗

The biggest thank you to my girl @gracesalis_ for pacing me the whole way. We had SO much fun and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to do it with🥹

@mcrhalf you were incredible

I celebrated the only way I know how, pizza and pub quiz x

WeRun Monday 🧡 The countdown to the end of our Sefton Park chapter is very real now.

This week had everything we love about a Monday a full group moving round the park, the speaker out, birthday cake making an appearance, a lot of laughs, and everyone carrying the night on afterwards over drinks.

The darker evenings are creeping in, but somehow that just made this one feel even more like the end of summer.

Next week is our final Monday at Sefton for a while, so we want to finish this run of Mondays properly.

If you’ve been with us all summer, come down.

WeRun Monday 🧡

A few highlights from last week before we do it all again tonight.

Big group, good energy, plenty of laughs, the speaker out, new faces getting involved and another Monday that felt exactly how WeRun should.

These reels are probably the best way to sum it up. It’s the run, the people, the chats before, the laughs during, and everyone sticking around afterwards.

My business is 6 years old 🥹🥹🥹

Crazy to think I started Salisstudio when I was 18 shooting in my mum and dad’s kitchen and 6 years later I’ve got my own studio in my own house

I never wanted to be a photographer, I’m completely self taught and genuinely knew nothing about the industry before stepping into it. Since, I’ve worked with incredible brands, built amazing relationships and crafted a life that I only ever dreamed of.

To everyone who has been on this journey with me, thank you, thank you, thank you !!

I love this job and am so grateful to each of you that allow me to do this for living ❤️
