Thank you Jesus for letting me be able to play this game and to have grown so much through it. It hurts to let it go, but I’m so grateful for all the memories I’ve made and for all my best friends that this game has given me.

how lucky am i to have loved something so much that it makes saying goodbye so hard. for the past 10 years, softball has been one of the biggest parts of my life. saying goodbye has never been, and still isn’t, something i am ready to do. there are no words to properly describe how thankful i am for for everything the sport of softball has given me. this game taught me what true passion, love, and failure feels like. i am who i am today because i fell in love with a bat and a yellow ball. but while i may never play the game again, the friendships and memories i have will always be my favorite takeaway. being able to end my career with this team was nothing short of an honor. this year made me remember how fun the game can be when you’re playing for something more than yourself. breaking records and setting the standard were just a plus. to my family, coaches, and friends that helped me get to where i am, i will never be able to show how thankful i am for everything you have done for me. none of this would have been possible without y’all. to my fatty whales, you guys rock (on🤘🏼🎸🪨). and to the game of softball, nothing else to say but thank you and long live cowgirls💜
