Meet the Clementine Players: a collective of creatives making bold, inclusive work through friendship, conviction, and a lot of creative problem-solving.

Their productions live somewhere between comedy and drama, classic and contemporary, the familiar and the unexpected. After reimagining well-known stories through a fresh lens since 2021, they’re stepping into new work with Megan Quick’s Woman of God: timely, intimate, funny, political, and rooted in the messy ways people show up for each other.

At the center of it all is a belief that theatre is community labor, and that queer joy will always find a way.

Woman of God runs August 7–9 at Episcopal Actors Guild Hall.
