Life Notes :::::: #mamyia645 #mamyiarb67 :::::: Thursday October 22, 2026 :::::: Not taken today, some not even this year, but I did just get back several rolls of developed film today, so kinda the same! Realized I haven’t tossed any film up here in a hot second, and haven’t ever posted any film portraits, so that’s kinda what today’s for fun photography post is. I’ve been shooting film since the beginning of my photography life, it’s what I learned on. However I only got into medium format film in the past 3-4 years, and love it (expensive, but love the developed images). This selection contains some strangers, some new friends, some incredibly dear friends, and some Bek. Because this format of film is relatively new in my life, all the shots of Bek are after wheel chair life had set in, so those are both deeply special and kinda hard at the same time, but thankful for them nonetheless the less. (Thanks @reformedfilmlab for always doing an incredible job!)

Road Notes :::::: #fujixpro1 :::::: October 16-18 2026 ::::: North Ga. Mountains. :::::: Very solid weekend in the hills. We met the Roberson family (not blood related, but still family!) back years ago, they hit me up for a quick family session, little did either of us know what dear friends they’d become! Fellow adventuring, mountain loving, front porch sitting family, they have loved Bek and I well ever since! Bek, myself and the Robersons had been talking about starting a Bible study group for 5-6 years now with their fam, it never really worked out for one reason or another, but the idea was brought back up after Bek’s passing for a group with just their son Wyatt and his close friends, and frankly I was hesitant as I am still figuring life out after her, but knew more time in the Word and leading others through it was needed for me right now, and I’m so very glad it worked out. Meeting with these brothers has been a big encouragement and blessing, stoked to keep this group rolling! That last photo is back when Bek and I and the Robersons kinda, but not really, but sort of, but not really ran an ice cream counter in August+House for a hot second.

💐so many blessings in 2025🦅

““yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.””
‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭
