Oh our sweet Champy. The smiliest, happiest and most loving baby boy I’ve ever met. And he’s all mine. I’m the luckiest mom on this planet to have him and his sister. Some days I get really down and sad knowing he has to fight this disease (CF) every day. Some days he seems so “normal” and happy I almost forget in between the treatments and medicine. But just because he doesn’t look sick, doesn’t mean that this terrible, life-threatening disease doesn’t live in him. Watching him smile through it all only fuels my determination more, I will never stop fighting for a cure. What a lot of people don’t know is how incredibly close they are! They. Are. So. Close. And I’m desperate for this to happen in Champ’s lifetime. We love you buddy 💙

I am always so sad when his sports seasons are over. We always have so much fun supporting him as a family. Watching him learn and grow as an athlete is always so rewarding. We are counting down the days until fall ball. ⚾️🍊😊🙌🏻

We may sometimes gripe and feel exhausted from the treatments multiple times a day, but not every family before us had access to treatments like this. We’re endlessly grateful for the advances in medical technology and CF research helping our boy thrive and live a healthier life.

Thank you @graciesprettypics for capturing this 💜
