BAGGU WHO?? I MADE THIS!!

Made the Crosstown Crescent Bag by gracomakes with this beautiful repurposed fabric from a an old garment I never wore.
Such a fun little afternoon project. First time installing a zipper, too… only broke TWO needles in the process. OOPSIES!!

Finally made myself a bag! 🪡🧵
🦀🌾 Meet the Sookie Crescent Bag.

*The name is a nod to “sook” - the nickname for a female crab.*

It’s the cutest crescent purse sewn from vintage fabric that I quilted and finished off with a handmade blue crab applique (my current sewing hyperfixation). 🧶🪡👜

✨ Feeling inspired to start a whole collection of appliqued bags and makes dedicated to growing up on Knott’s Island. Think blue crabs, herons, bay oysters, waterfowl, water moccasins, the marsh causeway & more! 🌾🦆🦪🦀🪶

*made with the crosstown crescent bag pattern in the small size*
