The conversation happening this week in Belgium goes beyond one campaign or one event.

It highlights something much bigger: how we discover creators.

As someone who has worked in influencer marketing, I’ve seen how much time and thought goes into building campaigns. But I’ve also seen how easy it is to rely on the same creator lists over and over again.

Belgium is home to an incredible community of Black and multicultural creators who consistently produce high-quality content and build engaged communities.

This isn’t about criticism.

It’s about opportunity.

An opportunity for brands and agencies to rethink how they discover talent and build campaigns that truly reflect the audiences they serve.

This is one of the reasons I am Winter’s Agency.

A creative marketing agency helping brands connect with diverse creators through intentional creator sourcing, visual branding and influencer partnerships.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on how our industry can continue to evolve.
