How lucky am I to live so close to the magic of Thomas, WV. I got to spend this past weekend soaking it all in. Flowers everywhere, extremely cute dogs, beautiful friends, an early birthday cake that might be the most stunning one I’ve ever seen, some outdoor time, lovely art, a new tattoo, and best of all, submerging myself in my favorite swimming hole again.

New Orthodox - Plain Language - PP003

Plain Language will be the third release (first vinyl) on the label I started this year: push/pull

Plain Language was recorded in Coxsackie NY, mixed in Minneapolis MN by John Dieterich, mastered/cut in Chicago IL by Carl Saff.

Plain Language is another vocal/steel deal with less going on than BMoC. My friend Julien told me it sounds like a mistake, human error.

($25) 200 black / ($30) 100 natural = 300 vinyl w/ digital download included.

Plain Language preorders open now, albums will ship out end of October. Come to the record release at Old Books 11/6!

Leaving Dolly Sods then a super fun show at the Purple Fiddle to see Shovels & Rope, so glad I jumped on getting tickets for this & our friend joined us. After show cocktail & hanging with the locals at The Gradient Project. A quick stop at Lindy Point for a last view before the GPS took us on a backroad tour of the mountain farms of WV on the way back home.
