They say you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, but I missed 100% of the shots I did take.

I would first like to say thank you god for allowing me to coach and be apart of these terrific young men’s lives. Although this season ended in a way we didn’t want we still accomplished great feats whether with was winning the tournament or going undefeated and winning the region. The feats I admire most are the growth as people, as friends, and in Christ that I personally got to experience with each and every one of you. I wouldn’t trade any of these experiences for anything and the love and bond I have with each of you will always remain. For as much as I taught you about the game of soccer y’all taught me about life. To my seniors I am so proud of the men y’all have become both on the field and off. Whether it’s the respect you show others, giving back to the community, visiting nursing homes to brighten people’s days, or just the way you uplift your teammates in hard times during their lives. I would ask you take the lessons learned on the field into your next phase of life and never forget there will be adversity but you are always built for that moment and god will always be with you through the valley. As we have said all year when the hard times come we are right where we wanna be! This team will always hold a truly special place in my heart. If each of you ever need anything at all I am only ever one call away. I love you guys and once again I thank god for allowing me to coach yall every day. Lastly I’d like to thank my amazing wife for allowing me to do what I love and pour into these young men. Without her none of this is possible!
